The customer service and pick-up/delivery timing were absolutely awful. If you have specific days you need your items moved, don’t bother with PODS. For pickup of empty container, expect to hold onto your container much longer than planned because they take an unreasonable amount of time to schedule pick up. Every time we tried to resolve the multiple issues we had over the phone, we were met with the runaround and empty promises. Overall, extremely disappointing experience. Would not recommend.

DO NOT GET PODS. This company will make your move a NIGHTMARE. My wife and I decided to try out pods to make our move easier.
They dropped off their container at our home and we loaded it up. A few days before requesting a pick up we call with enough time to ensure that they have us on their schedule. Only to tell us that they don’t service our are those days. They only service our areas 2 days out of the week. My wife spoke to a representative and they assured her that they will expedite it. They told her that we will hear back from them. 3 days later and we hear nothing from them. We call again and I talk to a representative by the name of Arvin. They kept giving us the run around and kept saying their Edinburg location isn’t answering. They kept telling us to keep an eye out for an email. I told Arvin that’s what they keep telling us. He said he will find out for me and personally take care of the situation. I never hear from him again. Now we are moved in to our new home and we have to live without our stuff for 5 days. This company is ridiculous! DO NOT GET THEM YOU WILL REGRET IT! They make your move a horrendous nightmare and don’t care if you have to live in your new home without your stuff. They charged us $300 and have us sleeping in the floor with blankets for almost a week. HORRIBLE COMPANY!

I had a pod delivered and I specifically told them not to leave it on the street because the city will tag it, well they didn’t listen and guess what, they left it in the street and I got a ticket and they tagged it and when I told pods about it, they had 48 hours to move it or it would get towed, pods did move it but then they were charging me the reposition fee and I wasn’t going to pay that, after weeks of debating they took off the fee.. then it was time to pick it up, they made me pay another month because they couldn’t get to it on time and pick up was going to be after payment was due, yeah I paid, only to get have it for 2 weeks out of the 4 I already paid for.. then they wanted me to pay 75 pickup fee, yeah I’m not paying that.. these people used to be a good company but now there just headaches waiting to happen..
If I could give zero stars I would..

Did not deliver on the correct day, despite warnings and rescheduling, and almost cost us an extra week of closing time on our house. Overall PODS service beyond local delivery was really great.

My issue is they give the dimensions of their containers as 15’ x 8’ x 8’ on their website. That is completely incorrect. The opening width is 6’ 7” and height is 6’ 2”. Even measuring the outside it is not 8’ x 8’. You can see in the pictures the proof. Bad company. Even though on the same day I told them to pick back up their container because the dimensions were wrong and I couldn’t use it and canceled with them. They still charged me a drop and pick up fee of over $400. Complete rip off. If you have a large item better doublecheck if it will fit the ACTUAL OPENING DIMENSIONS.

Excellent services from PODS. After a flood, it was so convenient to have a storage container right outside my door on my driveway. I didn’t have to rent a truck or storage unit or worry about getting friends to transport household furniture and items.

My experience was smooth. Container was delivered and picked up at right times. My stuff didnt move by a inch even though the distance between 2 apartments was 1500 miles. Would definitely recommend PODs to my friends.

Fantastic services from beginning to end. This was a stressful process. The cost was phenomenal and not one item was delivered broken or damaged. It is obvious they took very good care of our stuff.

They didn’t keep my pods in climate control as evidenced by the mud inside the pod and the damage to my furniture. A moving blanket melted onto my table. The insurance that I paid for was denied. Unless a war or a meteor hit the pod they don’t pay. Read the insurance before you waste your money. Pods Negligence and not accepting responsibility. Never use them again. NEVER. And don't buy into their response below. They refuse to do anything... so being nice in the review is fake. NEVER use PODSs.

We used two PODS for moving. The first one was sent to the facility and then we packed the second one. Very convenient service. It’s better to talk to a representative to get the details right.

PODS is very convenient. They do need to revamp their customer service. We had to call probably 5 times and each time had to wait on hold for an exorbitant amount of time, and were given misinformation which resulted in an unexpected delay of our POD.
