Ulta beauty far exceeded my expectations! A while back, I box dyed my hair black ? so I had little faith in achieving my desired hair color. However, thanks to the help of Kristian Leal, I was able to get a beautiful light color that I didn't even think was possible. I also did not imagine it to be so affordable because I was being quoted higher prices elsewhere. Overall, the staff was very kind, and Kristian was very helpful and knowledgeable in what could realistically be achieved. I'll definitely come back.

Walked in today for my serum. I made my way to the display and noticed it wasn’t there. I check my phone and it says available online for pickup. I proceed to ask Elena an employee, she immediately says she doesn’t have it. I let her know it says in stock and politely asked if she could double check in the back. She then proceeds to say. “ I will not check in the back I am not going, I know we don’t have it” I was taken back and just said walked away. I went to the register and asked a male employee to double check and he said sure thing. He comes back with 12 BOXES of the serum and says “oh yeah they were right there”. I proceeded to pay and let the lady at the register know my experience and she’s tells me that lady always gets complaints and for me to right a review.

Just because i came in almost in your closing time doesnt mean you have to treat me like I'm trash n not worth helping.. I have attempted to come here multiple times n get help n the way i got treated by Celest and Christina just inspired me to do this review. I walked in 4 minutes before store closing I knew exactly what i wanted. I asked Cristina if she worked there but stated yes but I'm clocked out so she offered to get me someone..but before that she said what we have here is all we have.. which i know is not true.. so i let it go n waited for another employee to come. A Celeste came n I ask the same question if they have this make up brush to which she states d same.." what we have out is what we have" but then i mention that there have been other willing employees that have looked in the drawers to see if there is additional merchandise in The past n I've seen this happen multiple times. so then she frustrated walks to 1 drawer n says u see we only have the makeup picking up d brand Hourglass i want n pretty much blows me off... I am writting this review in hopes that management will talk to employees to be kind n helpful n can they at least attend to customers with a smile even if they are in a bad mood. Very dissapointed with their customer service!!!

Amber at the cash registers needs to fix her attitude or needs to go back to kindergarten and learn simple manners. This location is lacking in the makeup selection and stocking. Much better quality and variety elsewhere. And definitely much more helpful staff.

Cynthia was excellent in doing my balayage. She worked with my hair history and was honest about what we could realistically do. The price was also reasonable. I can’t wait to come back.

I still had about 2min before closing to grab what I knew I wanted, so I would’ve been in and out but the lady at the door said no (doors were also already locked when it wasn’t even 8pm yet). Mind you there was a REALLY LONG line still so the employees still wouldn’t have left by 8pm themselves. I hardly come to this location anyway and now I remember why. McAllen location exiting ware road is the BEST location!

We had a brow appointment on Saturday 10am we waited for our regular tech to arrive and didn’t arrive. When I asked one of the cashiers if the tech was running late she responded oh no he will not be in until Wednesday since he called with a family emergency. I asked why Ulta’s staff didn’t call the customer to notify and she responded yes we did. I was very disappointed and informed her no one from Ulta called me. I rated a one star for that same reason because honesty and communication come first and accordingly to your customers. It is very unfair to be waiting around the store while the tech is out?

I had received a coupon of 20% of my whole purchase so when I got to the register with my purchases I gave the cashier my coupon so she informs me that it wasnt good till after Christmas but she was wrong!! I was so disappointed!
