I booked a king bed room which also promised an additional rollaway bed for free as complimentary amenity. I checked in at 11 pm, but was refused the additional rollaway bed. Instead, they had the audacity and consciousness (that is, the lack of it) to ask me to pay almost $100 extra to "upgrade" to a double-queen-bed room, rather than feeling apologetic and trying to compensate me by doing so at no extra cost. Protesting, I begrudgingly paid because that night I had no other choice.The room itself was very nasty - nothing like those nice-looking photos at all displayed on company and booking websites - see actual photos I took. Nasty sticky substances on shower tile, and mold on the entire ceiling!Overall, with scammy workers and filthy rooms, and being in essence a run down motel masquerading as a high-end inn, this one takes the cake out of all Best Westerns I stayed in the past with the worst experience and most pretentious name ("Executive"? Excuse me? Feels more like homeless). Stay here at your own risk.

Front desk ladies (day and night) both seem to have an attitude with doing there job. Have never had that much attitude from someone at the front desk when asking simple questions. They will definitely wait until they are fully done with what ever they are doing before they help ( smoking and or watching a movie in the lobby with there kid). House keeping regularly dosent fully clean the rooms and will take every towel and not leave you with any. To top it off the last morning of my stay I decide to try the free breakfast and when they run out they will not get more, also found a hair in my food. All and all the rooms yes they are decent but the staff definitely needs better training

Great place great people keep up the good work everybody ?Was so relaxing in the room big bed n pillows. Great prices all n all then woke to free breakfast couldn't have ask for nothing better. To start off with I had issues with my stay last weekend and trying to get the issues resolved. I called management again who told me the owner saw my bad review and told her about it(she brought it ro my attention). I told her I had every right to put a bad review after my experience. After we got off the phone because she said she would call the owner to see about correcting the money error that was their fault I thought about it... I looked and never made a bad review. I took a survey so since they accuse me now I will share. The manager told me bad reviews dont matter anyhow so here it goes. I checked in on Fri at 4ish with my child for a baseball tournament. We put our stuff up quickly and left to go eat. Came back at 6 to change to prepare for practice at 630. My daughter tells me there are 2 small roaches in the bathroom one alive and one dead. I called the lady at the front desk (who was great by the way) and she said she would have to call the manager to see what they can do. Now, she did offer me to switch rooms but i explained to the girl that i have no time to do that in less than 20 min to be ready and gone for practice and by the time we get back it will be late to pack move upstairs and then get her to bed to be up early for a a game first thing. ALSO because changing rooms would mean not the same 2 queen beds i paid for and down to 1 king because they were out of queens. I said the room wasnt infested but it was unsanitary with roaches but i can clean the countertops. I asked if a manager would be willing to do a small courtesy discount because it wasnt so simple to move around with a tired kid who has been playing baseball for 3 hours. She said she would ask. She never called me back I had to ask her. She said it was a 10$ discount. I said thank you. I was grateful. So the next morning I wake up and get ready and check my acct. ANOTHER 96.10 charge is pending on my acct. So at this point 222.20 is on a hold unavailable for me to use. I went to the front and showed the girl the charges. She also had NO idea why the night girl placed a hold for some random amount on my card. I got very upset because i explained to the girl im a single mom one income and now i have very little money because of this. I had to borrow to get money for things I needed because of this inconvenience. She said there was nothing she can do. I called my bank and they said because it was pending their bank needs to release it. Its not that simple. So monday comes after a stressful weekend and i finally speak to the manager who told me it should of been a 15 percent discount not 10$. So when im talking to her and did the math the amount of $111 the first girl told me was not correct. So the manager was kind enough to refund me the whole stay for all the problems. By Wed the refund hit my account but that 96 charge ia still there pending that came out of nowhere overnight Sat. I called today, thurs, because im concerned and this issue has caused me financial struggles i have one income i work with. She says she will reach out to the owner to see if he can call his bank to release it and call me back. She tells me wait 10 days its not that easy when i have bills like everyone else and they put two pending charges on my card and cant explain why. The manager still cant tell me why i was charged that secomd amount. What a nightmare. If the owner does see this as a business he should be comcerned with bad reviews and how his staff charges people twice and cant explain charges. I appreciate the manager for doing the right thing but to not give the customer a reason why I got charged a pending amount random amount makes no sense. Besides, this is how people know your a good business is by reviews. For you to say the reviews dont matter is crazy but I did read the response from the owner on multiple reviews and sure enough they dont care how people are treated. Very sad. Now its been hours and still Nao call back from the manager.

I recently had the pleasure of staying for 4 nights. From the moment I stepped foot in the lobby to the time I reluctantly checked out, every aspect of my stay was nothing short of a good experience The room was a delightful haven of comfort and elegance. Immaculately clean, tastefully decorated, and equipped with all the modern amenities one could wish for, it provided the perfect respite after a day of exploring the city. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud, and I woke up refreshed and ready to take on the day. Very good place, and I really like it.

Location is great. Don’t trust the reviews like I did ! Some employees lack experience and some may even need a drug test. Didn’t feel safe and definitely would not recommend.

Decent for the price of rates. Could use some upgrades (sofa and carpet).Rooms: Need to be upgraded. Sofa is old and dingy, as well as carpet. Carpet had a lot of white hair (they may have had a dog in there).

Not everyone wants to pay with credit!! People do carry cash. Needs more quick and experienced clerks to take care of customers. And leaving $200 deposit cash for 2 older adults who are not going to trash a room is rediculous!! People just want to sleep and leave in the morning.. Stop being so money hungry!!!Noteworthy details: Will never stay there again!!

This is the 2nd time I have stayed here. I was happy with my stay both times. The staff is super friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and the hotel is easy to get to. The only complaint I can think of is I wish they had ashtrays in the smoking rooms, but at least they have smoking rooms! I will definitely stay here again!

Love this place. It's a new Christmas tradition. I'm from El Campo and live near Austin now (Round Rock). We spend Christmas Eve in El Campo. Now we stay at the Best Western so we don't feel pressured to drive 2.5 hours home. It's clean and very well located. I kinda look forward to it. :)
