I recently had my brakes serviced thinking I was going to a reputable automotive shop that does great work at a reasonable price but I was charged approximately $736 for parts and around $706 for labor. The old owners are long gone and I feel that they're price gouging. I ended up paying right under $1,500 for most of my brake system, mind you this vehicle is almost 20 years old. Im a bit disappointed because now we have an engine problem and possibly cannot afford to pay our bills, let alone feed ourselves. But to be completely fair they did a good job on my brakes. I just hoped for a more reasonable price because of the fact that I was originally quoted a lot less, until I got the call. I'd like to feel like coming back, rather than looking into other mechanics. I'm a loyal customer if all goes well!

Really helpful! My family was in Branson on vacation and when their car broke down they were really on a time crunch to get back home. Every shop we called was booked weeks out. Our car felt like Mary and Joseph: no room in the inn! But then we called A&L, who got our car diagnosed and repaired four times faster than the other shops would even look at our car. On top of that, they were helpful, kind and understanding. All for a hard-to-beat price. Sometimes the best abilities are availability and affordability!

We had used A & L for many years, Al and Lily have kept our older and used cars up and running and have always been affordable, quick with repairs, and extremely helpful. Unfortunately, they have retired and sold the shop. The new owners are in it to make a buck and overcharge you and their estimates of service are anything but quick. Called about getting some work done, I knew what the problem was, the new owner quoted price that was 3 times what I found elsewhere and told me it would be a week before they could take it in-they are so busy he said. When I drove by on my way to the other shop-not busy and still can't figure out how he was quoting $1800 when I got car fixed elsewhere for $600 labor and parts. We had continued to go there for a while after the new owners took over, but after being price gouged and poor service, as well as dishonesty-we will no longer be used by them. But found a place just down the street from them that is excellent.

Fantastic service! All I needed was to press a bearing into my hub. The owner not only accepted my job, but found a better quality bearing for a lot cheaper. Definitely coming back!

These guys are awesome! They really stepped up and helped me in a pinch with my trailer. Rewired the whole trailer with new lights and connector in just a day and at a really good price. Couldn't ask for better service. If you are in the Kemah/NASA area and in need of automotive repair or device, please give these guys a try, you won't be disappointed!

This shop is hands down my favorite shop to get my mechanic work done. All of my cars are always in tip top shape due to them fixing everything that is needed every time I go to them. Everything that has been replaced never breaks down again only until it normally wears out and the prices are very affordable! Did the work I needed done at an affordable price. The quality was top notch. Luis and Adrian were very professional. Explained what needed to be done and why.
