Dude. What the hell is up with this mall?! It's the epitome of a graveyard for shopping centers the world over. And I didn't even come here to shop! I was actually attending a Yelp event when I checked in here. But as I was walking through the entire mall, I noticed an overwhelming amount of ostensibly desolate, closed stores. I love how the atmosphere clearly exhibits that no one gives a s**** Literally NO ONE shops here. At all. It's actually depressing to walk through this place. I can accurately vouch for this, considering it was a Saturday evening at the time. Pitiful. I honestly do not understand how the hell this place is still open and functioning. It must cost them a fortune to keep the mall running, considering the sheer lack of customers. They don't even have a food court really. It's like...a Subway next to some other bakery joint thing (I honestly can't even remember) with the tiniest amount of seating I've ever seen. But the thing that really pissed me off was how long it took to find a frickin' restroom! And guess where it was. Hidden somewhere barely within the confines of the food court as you would normally otherwise expect. And I suspect it was the only restroom in the entire mall. I walked around the entire building, first AND second floor before finding it. And before you ask, no...there was no mall directory in sight. This place is a complete joke! I've lived in El Paso for years off and on. I remember when this place was....almost sort of decent. Now, it's like walking through the outskirts of Detroit. I half expected to get jumped in the parking lot or something. It doesn't really look like they're planning on renovating or anything. Might as well just tear the whole thing down and make room for something better. Overall, it's a depressing experience no self respecting consumer should ever have to endure. If you live on the west side, my condolences. You'd be better off taking the extra drive over to Cielo Vista Mall. Sunland Park gets 1 lonely, pitiful patron searching desperately for a hidden restroom out of 5.

I've been here before when I dude to live here 6 years ago and I remember it being our go to Mall. Mainly because it was really really close to our apartment. Now it's pretty empty. There aren't as many store and the food court has very little options. Sorta glad we live on the east side this time around because we are closer to cielo vista which is my preferred go to mall. If you're looking for a mall that doesn't have a lot to offer and isn't crowded then this is your go to place.

Walking through this mall nearly feels like walking through an abandoned mall. The stores are extremely limited and the few stores they do have seem to have much less merchandise than usual. It got two stars because most of the people who work in the stores were very kind and pleasant to interact with and because my son had fun playing in the small little play area.

Hmm I feel like I had a very different experience than what my fellow Yelpers rated here. I was not terribly impressed with this mall for several reasons which I will detail but because of convenience I decided to take a peek around. Sunland Park Mall has a pretty large space and has a variety of different stores in here. We came to go shopping at Starr Western Wear which is one of their anchoring department stores that specializes in, well, western wear. After looking around at Starr, I decided to take a walk around specifically looking for some coffee. The only place that had coffee was an ice cream store located on the second floor. It seemed rather popular not so much for the coffee but for their ice cream (unfortunately I didn't give that a try although I wanted to!). I mean, if you can't hold a coffee store in your mall... I think that's a problem. There are coffee places every where but why not here? They did have a small food court but it was late in the day and most were closed. They did have a cowboy boot store and a few other interest knick knack stores but if you're looking for anything name brand here or something that you'd be familiar with forget it. Plenty of parking outside. Most people were hanging out there rather than going in the stores. Perhaps this is the only mall in the area? Not sure. Not very interesting in my honest opinion.
