I always feel intimidated trying to go to a butcher because I don’t know what to buy or how to cook it. The staff here is so helpful and friendly, they got me over that fear. Our whole family loves the walk-up lunch window, and can vouch for the Chile Verde burritos, cheeseburgers, and BBQ Brisket sandwich… always a pleasure to visit with Victor and the crew. They offered us a military discount (they could tell we were new to the area and guessed right)! So glad we found this place!

Highly recommend! Great selection, fair prices and hand cut to order. The man who helped us was friendly and informative and really took care of us. He also gave us a great joke at the end!

We received a recommendation to go to this butcher and they do not disappoint! Very friendly & knowledgeable staff. Great selection of meat including some good random selections like camel, frog legs, etc. They even do knife sharpening & have sandwiches.

The Coronado meat market is something special in old El Paso. Jerome G is especially knowledgeable about fine cuts of meat and is a true professional at his craft. His associate Victor makes a special gourmet burger off the menu called "The Kong" or a hangover cure as it's sometimes reffered to is a mammoth treat. It contains 2 juicy patties, cheese, smoked bacon, over easy egg on a sweet brioche bun. It's a slice of carnivore heaven that will satisfy the majority of burger snobs. They have an amazing operation that is a hidden gem in western Texas. Come one come all for a taste above the rest.

We visited from Arizona today and I have to say that the staff was amazing. They spent time with us explaining the different cuts of meat, and making suggestions. Everyone in the shop was friendly and extremely customer centric. We also purchased cooked food which was absolutely delicious. We had the burger, a Philly cheesesteak and a the BBQ Cheese Brisket Melt. Each was absolutely delicious. Edy V even gave me a delicious Cherry Chocolate Chunk Ice Cream on the house. They make it theirselves and it’s really good. I almost forgot to mention the homemade peach pie! Yummy!! Overall great place to shop. We will be back next time we are in town, and we will definitely be ordering some cuts delivered to Arizona.

This spot is such a gem! Their meats are top quality, I've used them now for most of our family events. They will do extra thin cuts for korean bbq which can be hard to find. Love their brats, love their porkbelly. I'm not personally a fan of wild game meats but they have them here if you are!! They also have a nice collection of wine and local beer. And to top it off, they have dessert!! Edy's ice cream is absolutely delicious!

Coronado is absolutely five-star quality and service. Eddie and his team are super welcoming and won't hesitate to get you exactly the right cut of meat you want. Lunch there was a fantastic experience too. Props to them for running such an excellent butcher shop!

Not only are the gentlemen that work there friendly and welcoming. They are artist at their craft. Atmosphere is comfortable, if you appreciate all around quality this is definitely the only meat shop I’ll go to after being in the area for year.

Great service from a very welcoming crew at Coronado.Called about their prime rib roast; although they had some fresh options, they had some frozen ones still available from the new year at a discount.Picked up a frozen one at their recommendation. It did not disappoint after a few hours in the smoker and finished it in the oven. Friends and family enjoyed it very much!

Waited super last minute to buy a Christmas ham from THAT place across the street so we stumbled in to Coronado prime meats and was sold an expensive but amazing cut of prime rib roast. It turned out fantastic and was just the right amount of meat. Everyone inside is friendly and very helpful.We will definitely be coming back to buy our meats for special occasions!
