Custom sounds wanted to charge me $200 to install a backup camera to an already existing system. I bought the camera for $25 and installed it myself in less than one hour. It was literally plug and play.

Update to my last review they had me waiting 20 minutes, because the printer didn’t work , however I heard it printing as they were helping the other customers. Ended up walking out, did not receive a refund, and now waiting for the regional manager to contact me

Horrible customer service!!!! I went to get my windows tinted they said they’re technician wasn’t in but to make an appointment for the next day. I made the appointment and they took my keys, the guy said it would be ready in two hours and he would give me a courtesy call when it was done. I left and came back after 4 hours!!! When I got there my windows were not even worked on! They didn’t even tint my windows, after four hours and no work done!!! No call!! Horrible service!!!! I would give them no stars if I could!

Poor communication. Called earlier in the week for a quote for removal of tint (3 windows) and retint. I was quoted 145 by Aaron. Today no info on charge for removal. Was presented with form to sign with an additional 80 dollar charge for removal. I have no problem with a fee- nothing is free but if I don’t know about it, I don’t appreciate it. Customer service is important to any business.

I went to Custom Sounds to get my window tint done and purchased the warranty along with it. I had to go in and take advantage of the warranty only 2 weeks later because my passenger window was peeling and there were bubbles that were visible on my drivers side. Upon arriving, the customer representative that assisted was extremely discourteous. He went out to look at my vehicle and grabbed the seatbelt and said that the seatbelt hit the passenger window and that was the reason it was peeling. His ill mannered tone and demeanor was very displeasing to a paying customer that had nothing to do with the damages, I simply just wanted my money’s worth and a good job done.. after all, the representative stated that he worked there for twenty plus years, you would assume that he would know how to treat customers. I will never be doing business with Custom Sounds in the future and I will encourage anyone to do the same.

I had a remote start installed by Lee Trevinio. Customer service was very good. There was some miscomunocation internally but was solved. This happened probably due to who would install such equipment on a 2014 Sonata.

First of all I purchased a Groupon for a remote start. Of course it was a misleading purchase the remote start did not include a necessary part which the manager informed me is necessary for pretty much all cars after 2002. So added costs there so again a misleading package for probably 95% of all cars still on the road. Second, I was quoted that this would be a four hour job by sales associate Nick when I made my appointment. I was early for my 10am appointment by 2 minutes. I should expect that my car should be done in four hours from my appointment time which would be 2pm. At 1:30pm I asked about an update and was informed that it would not be done by 2pm and that I had two cars ahead of me which seems strange as I was here before the shop even opened and I had an appointment. Generally, an appointment means a reserved spot, at least it does every other place I have ever had an appointment before. When I raised my concerns to the manager he told me that the tech had to go buy a tool they were lacking. I asked why anyone was ahead of me when I had an appointment. He said we are like the dealer ( whatever that means). He told me, after I had done all that I was asked to, that he could just pack up the car and come back when I actually have some time (this is after I have been in the store for three and a half hours). I asked him why his company says four hours and makes appointments when they don’t mean anything and he said “what do want me to do”. He again said you can come back another day. This is some of the worst customer service and just all around being rude to a customer I have experienced. The managers name is Armando and he needs customer service training unless customs sounds is also complicit in the blatant disrespect of of their customers to their face and of their customers time. Armando seemed to think that the customer should have to wait because custom sounds is not prepared for installs for which they have made ahead of time which include make and model. I eventually left... I didn’t get a call that the work was done until 7:06pm (6 minutes after the place was supposed to close). Unacceptable, pathetic treatment of customers. DO NOT COME HERE UNLESS YOURE OK WOTH BEING DISRESPECTED BY MANAGEMENT AND LIES ABOUT SERVICE!!!!

Manager & sales team were great, whoever, bought two remote starts, and both vehicles had issues with their functionality, one shuts off when you open the door, the other unlock from remote when vehicle is remote started, was told nothing else could be done, as that's how thw remote start works on those vehicles : (
