Yesterday march 30 2025, went into this location like I usually do (the employees are all females that don’t look so happy with themselves) , so they would usually follow me. Moving forward to yesterday again so I was doing my shopping for my kiddos and a employee (HER NAME IS VIVIANNA) aggressively pulled me from the store accusing me of stealing her $4 eyelashes on the 19th of march they sell there. I asked for proof of report or video cause she said she had a report. She didn’t have proof of anything she aggressively still proceeded to kick me and my mom out and harassed us , I proceeded to call a unit & not even to the unit she could pull a video out . She said her cameras weren’t all of a sudden working. If you don’t want to be accused of stealing just because of HOW YOU LOOK don’t go in here. I got decriminalized with these ladies (specifically VIVIANA) just because of the way I look and dress. Please if anyone goes through this as well PROOCEED with the charges. I will be going through with charges again with ms Viviana.

Wow! What's going on with Dollar General that it will not address the poor customer service from one of its employees at the George Dieter and Edgemere store? I was surprised to find out that several people have already complained about this same person. Vivian (I doubt her real name) was very rude! Early this afternoon I asked if they sold any basketballs or footballs, she responded "Check the toy section." I had done so already. So I specifically asked, "OK but do you know if you carry them." She responded, that I need to check and that I needed to stop yelling at her. " What? Any other store employee would have stopped what they were doing since there were only one or two customers in the entire store and gone over to show me where they were. But not her! Interesting that other customers have addressed her rudeness but she still works there. OK. I did take my business elsewhere, in fact, I went to "Five Below" with great customer service and deals on basketballs.

Today I received the worst service Vivina the manager. I went 1st thing this morning to purchase something that a I needed for my office. As I approached the counter she said wait and walked off. The product did not have a price. All she said I have bad news I can't sell you the product. Note that was the only product left. I asked what she could do and she said nothing. I can't believe that as a manager she can't be resourceful and call another store to get the barcode information. To top it off asked for the District Manager phone and she provided a general number. She argued with me and said that I was rude when in fact she was very rude and sarcastic. I have been shopping at this location for many years since it open. I will choose to go elsewhere where I am treated with respect. Very Disappointed 😞 Dollar General George Dieter and Edgemere

Rudest person I have ever met in my life! Especially in customer service! My enemies are kinder! I was thrown out and humiliated in front of other shoppers because the lady THOUGHT I was going to steal! Had to walk home sick in the heat, because I wasn't allowed the time to put money on my card to book a ride home or to pay my bills today, much less get cold and flu medicine! I spend a lot of money at Dollar general but starting today I guess that stops!
PS: I was going to write zero Stars, but I had to give at least one to post, pretend like you don't see it!!!

By far the worst Saturday 8am cashier I have encountered in my life. Rude and disrespectful! If you are unhappy having your job don't make everyone else suffer with your attitude

DG at Edgemere and GD. The guy in front of me had trouble with self-checkout. We waited forever for the cashier to come strolling at the pace of a turtle. No greeting, and with her 2 inch fake nails, she had to pull one coin out of the register at a time! Yes, I paid cash. BTW: there are NO $ stores, at this place, everything is $2, at Family Dollar it’s. $5!!

Hello, today is 10.22.22. I shopped for some basic essentials. Store is usually wellstocked. However, in recent weeks, store was always out of antiperspirant and Ibuprofen to mention a few items.Store Lead Employee (older Gentleman), possibly the store GM, is always courteous and professional. Overall a good shopping experience.
