El Paso Pulmonary Association receives mixed reviews from patients. Some report very positive experiences with specific doctors, describing them as kind, knowledgeable, thorough, and respectful, treating patients like human beings. These doctors are noted for taking time to explain conditions, order thorough testing, and pay attention to detail. Their staff is also sometimes called great, helpful, and fast. However, other patients report significant frustrations. Wait times are frequently described as very long and frustrating, with recommendations to find a less busy office. One reviewer found a particular doctor to be miserable and condescending, creating discomfort. There are also complaints about phone communication, stating that calls are not answered, leading to confusion about appointments. Organization by some staff is mentioned as an area needing improvement.

Lengthy waits in the lines and during visits can be quite frustrating. If you have the option to find a less busy office, I highly recommend doing so. It can save you up to an hour of waiting time during each visit.

Dr Pkakash is an extremely knowledgeable doctor. He cares. I recently moved from Houston and all of my doctors are at the Texas Medical center. He showed genuine interest in my well being. I highly recommend him.
