My experience with Furniture City has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I believe it's essential to share my story as a cautionary tale for potential customers.In November 2022, I made a significant purchase at Furniture City, buying a couch with the understanding that it was part of a bundle deal that included a loveseat. However, my excitement quickly turned to frustration when, just three days later, I returned to the store to inquire about the bundle price being honored. The salesperson, Dean, assured me that it would be, only to charge me full price for both items, which was a blatant breach of trust.The problems didn't end there. I decided to finance the couches through Furniture City, but I never received a single bill from them. Due to ongoing health issues that kept me in and out of the hospital for months, the couches weren't my top priority. However, when I eventually noticed my credit score declining, I investigated the issue. To my shock, I discovered that Furniture City had sent my debt to collections without ever sending a single bill or making a single phone call to notify me.Adding to my frustration, I attempted to contact Furniture City numerous times during their business hours using the phone number listed on Google, but not once did they answer, and their voicemail was perpetually full.This entire experience with Furniture City has been a complete letdown, marked by a lack of transparency, poor customer service, and a disregard for responsible business practices. I strongly caution anyone considering doing business with Furniture City to think twice, as my experience has been a financial and emotional ordeal that I wouldn't wish on anyone.

0 stars if I could. My husband and I recently went to go look for a few pieces of furniture. I was considering buying something up until the salesperson, Ralph, decided to inquire how my husband and I deal with intimacy during deployment. (My husband mentioned he was in the service; Ralph was relating as he has a wife in the service.) So while I appreciate trying to relate to your customers, or whatever was going on here, the question made both my husband and I uncomfortable. Ralph clearly needs to better understand time and place. We weren’t friends at a bar, we were customers at a store. Meanwhile, whoever was working with Ralph, interrupted our search because he needed to go…pretty sure yelling across the store isn’t necessary to complete this task. Never coming back to this place. I don’t see how it’s still in business…

So here's my expierience... my husband and I spent $$$ refurnishing our apartment and the quality/expierince/service sucks!!!! I guess when they say, "cheap costs more"... is definitely correct! My furniture got delivered and was falling apart , the sales dude lied from the beginning which was a red flag I take responsibility towards! Long storey short I don't recomend you to buy from!

Just received a TEXT AD from these guys years after having done business with them. I DID NOT agree to this. If it happens again, I will make a bigger deal.I don't know who authorized that c**p, but they need to be fired immediately.Read through the recent reviews to see why you should never do business with these scam artists.

Very long wait times for furniture, expensive delivery that will usually be late. We purchased several things from this place over the years and never really had a problem, except that it seemed to take weeks and months for things to arrive. Now we get a couch and love seat and didn't notice a deep abrasion until a few days later when the light was just right. Called them, emailed photos, and they said we burned the couch, and since we didn't purchase the extended warranty, they were not going to help us. Since it was damaged during shipping, you would think they would step up and repair the couch. No. The manager said it was past the 24 hour window to return it. He didn't offer to help us get replacement parts, get it repaired, nothing. Reading the fine print, which I don't remember seeing on the original copy, there are no returns, no refunds after delivery, and a 25% fee for any changes to your order.The furniture is cheaply made, but very expensive. The motors in the recliners consume electricity constantly, even when not in use. There is a very strong electric field radiating from the seat, and that will make you sick over time.This is a toxic company and if their customer service was better I would feel sorry for the employees. They know there's no repercussions for taking advantage of the customer because they are a local company and "corporate" is just another store, with equally bad management. They don't have to answer to anyone and they know it.

Worst experience everI bought furniture and scheduled it with this company for setup and delivery and they left all of my new furniture disassembled and thrown on the floor next to the garage outsideNever again will I do business here at least the store manager made it right which is something I appreciate I'll be seeking a refund on portions of my ticket

Completely disreputable. From the sales people to the owner. They will run and hide from you after the sale. The best thing they could do is go out of business. They will lie to you when the truth would serve them better.

I bought furniture from the floor as is. I took a picture and there was no damage. Got it delivered and was damaged. Contacted the store and they told me to email Jasmin the claims lady. She has been nothing but rude. Someone called to schedule a technician and told us Monday is the only time for westside fixes. Then she emailed and said that she doesn't know who called but it's Wednesday. Honestly the date doesn't matter but her emails are just rude. Sad thing is I was really ready to go spend more money on this store because I loved the furniture but thanks to Jasmin I will not be doing that anymore. Who knows if she will even send someone over after this review. Go to Furniture Household instead. They did free delivery and I spend the same amount there. 5k and no issue. The other place followed up with us and gave 100 plus great service. Furniture City Westside was ok but thanks to Jasmin I don't want to spend more money there. All she had to do was be nice and that obviously is hard for her to do. I should have listen to the Google reviews and any place who turns off their social media reviews is questionable.

The warranty service is terrible. Do not ever spend your money at this place. I have being trying to make a claim on poorly manufactured furniture and they do not respond. Terrible customer service. You are better off going to the salvation army.

Buyer beware. I purchased furniture on 6/28 with the "promise" from Mike that it would be delivered on 6/29 (and with a fee of $99 for delivery) and not only was it never delivered, but the delivery people never called to let me know they weren't going. I called the store multiple times and no answer. On 6/29 I spoke with Damaris who told me that they would be delivering it on 6/29 and that if for any reason they couldn't she would let me know; and, once again, no delivery, and Damaris never cared to call me back to let me know that they would again not be delivering. I have now wasted time from work and calling a facility that doesn't answer. I let them know today that it will be the last day I actually wait (AGAIN) for them to fulfill on the delivery, otherwise I will be filing a complaint and requesting full refund. This is the most unprofessional furniture store I have worked with which is very interested in getting your money but then has no interest in actually delivering what you pay for. Save yourself the headache and work with actual professional, honest companies like Crate & Barrel.

Bought a $2,000 couch from them and had it about a month when it snapped by just being sat on by 160lb 14 year old boy, they had someone come look and said they don't cover that. About the worst experience ever, don't waste your money or time, they said I could pay their repair man if I wanted, not getting another dime from me. Poor poor quality
