Not a good bank they are always trying to steal money from you one way or the other. I had just gotten this bank because I wanted to chose them as my primary bank but never mind. One time I went into the Branch to deposit money and they only deposited part of it good thing I noticed before leaving the building and had to wait in customer service to get a solution after that I could hear the lady next to me having issues as well that the atm didn’t give her her money she withdrew but the receipt said it did. So the person that was “helping me “ wanted me to sit so I couldn’t listen . Then she said I had to wait because she couldn’t get the teller so I told her that’s why you have tellers!!! So they are responsible for your money and your accounts!!! She said they GECU was not responsible!!!!!! Yes you are!!! You are taking the money !! You are responsible for it !! Including your teller!! Both get paid for this !! Then all of a sudden the manager came out of no where and handed me the money CASH!!! after 20 minutes of people using the same teller and coming in and out all of a sudden the machine decided to spit the money out!!!

My car was insured yet GECU charged my loan additional insurance. They neglected to reply to me via email and phone. They told me numerous times they'd get the proof of insurance from my provider. They never did so they charged me for not having insurance. Don't bank with these scammers. I'll be going to Evolve fcu

This is a good location! We didn't go inside but we did use the ATM. It was not one of the new updated ATMS like the other locations have but it got the job done plus the line was not very long.

If there was a zero or negative score GECU should get it. The have 5 people standing around staring at a computer and doing nothing when there are 20 people waiting for "automated tellers" if you want a bank that lost the idea of custom service bank here. They hire obviously green kids to be the face and they have zero care and zero knowledge of what is going on. Literally 5 of them standing looking at what seems to be a solitaire game in the computer. There are way better credit unions in town that offer CUSTOMER service not make it easier for them. So one saw me and asked if I needed help and "I said yes I'd like to make a transfer...the response oh, I can't help you with that. Then why ask?"

Friendly local bank. Really a joy to interact with most employees here. Usually quick and streamlined. Been with them for 20 years and they've had my back. It's a bank, but really still has that small town vibe.

Tried to deposit a check using my phone to find out two months later it was rejected. They forgot to tell me or disclose it on their website to write down " for GECU online deposit". How was I supposed to know?Now my check has been rejected again and this time I'm sure they will come up with another absurd excuse.

Ok beware, the hours state open till 7 but that’s only for tellers. I drove from out of state without knowing this. I got here 5:57 to do something on my account and account services is only until 5 pm!!!

I have been a member since I moved back to El Paso..I do most of my banking online but whenever I have to visit in person..I have always had professional & friendly service. No monthly extra charges. I highly recommend using a Credit Union instead of bank especially GECO.
