Their machine took my money and didn't deposit it into my account. I tried to get help but the employees told me to come back in the morning.

As someone who doesn't bank with GECU I have to come here only once a month for a payment and everytime there's always huge lines for the tellers/ATMs. I understand that a place might be busy but when people who arrive after you are leaving already when you haven't even been helped out is outrageous. Not only that but the tellers always make a mistake when listening to your request. I got teller 5726 and she did a horrible job. I'm glad I only come once a month because this place is a huge headache and very unprofessional

What kind of sorry banking institution, or credit union, will not cash their own checks, money orders, cashiers checks??! ANSWER is GECU!!If you're not a member, they will not cash an IOU to anyone!@Let's wait for another sorry response!!

Worst credit union I’ve ever had. The staff is completely useless. They constantly lie to me. And they have refused to freeze my account when my account was hacked. They keep charging me overdraft fees for purchases that I told them were not me. If I could give 0 stars I would.

GECU is a horrible credit union. I recently tried to dispute some transactions that were charged to my account without my permission. I called trying to dispute these charges and they proceeded to tell me that they couldn't dispute any charges more than 60 days old and that to initiate a stop payment that I would have to pay their standard overdraft protection fee of $29.50 out of my bank account for each individual transaction. There were like 7 or 8 different transactions on there. In addition, to refusing to dispute the transactions in question. They also attempt to steal from their customers by charging them an overdraft fee for a stop payment for unauthorized transactions that cannot be disputed or halted by the credit union. I do not recommend this credit union at all.

ATMs never work, always takes forever when you go inside. All their locations are equally as bad too!

GECU is by far the work bank I’ve ever had. I didn’t start having problems with them until the recent 2-3 years. Their customer service is great, my issue is with the bank itself. Constant overdraft fees when they weren’t needed, transactions that pens for almost a week on end, and they’ve reversed payments for my bills causing us to have to pay for bills again cause they’ve reversed the payments due to insufficient funds when the funds were there. Please I strongly recommend you do not use GECU for a personal account. I will never go back to them again.

The interior of the looked really nice. But, are y'all trying to get rid of personal service ? That is how a business is operated and trust me that I will definitely go somewhere else.

Not all of your ATMS should be real time deposit, because not everyone needs to deposit. Sometimes people need a quick access to an ATM and this is not possible because everyone is spending 15-20 minutes at the ATMS outside instead of getting down. ATMs should be for quick convince. If it's going to be more than 5 minutes people should get down.

For being a current GECU member for almost a decade. First Light Credit Union gave me a better rate.
