When you have a problem or question, you cannot get a live person to assist. I was placed on hold for over one and a half hours and no one came on the line. I have been doing business since I was 18 yrs. Old and now I'm 75. So I believe that I move to a smaller credit union that has time to assist customers.

Horrible experience. Been waiting in the "second" line for over 30 minutes with only 3 employees and 12 people in line. After standing in the "wrong" line. Because apparently they "can't help".

Been member for over 15 years. Closing my accounts asap. They nickel and dime you for everything. Their customer service sucks and and debit cards always fail. Really sad how this bank went downhill over the years.

Needs be a better on all , service personnel, customer service , and that app from the bank always is up date , I need to go to set up again , so not good for me, needs to work a lot on this bank .

I've been with this bank as long as I can remember but the most I hate is the debit card. Every where I go it always fails that the pin is wrong. I've changed the card 3 xs already and I know already it's not my pin it's the card. Sooo tired of it they can never do nothing about it just change it but it still gave me problems. I constantly have to be getting the money out but I can't get the exact amount out and causes me problems with the auto pays. Idk bout loans nor credit cards etc.

People don’t go with gecu they stole $1000 from my account for no reason and I did a dispute and they don’t want to give me my money back so I’m suing gecu at the moment and I’m going to get more what they stolen from me so people don’t get a account with gecu they scam people

I was having trouble setting up my pin with my debit card and Destiny was so nice and fixed it up right up for me! I also had to change my address and she helped with that as well! She really made my day better!

We have been banking with GECU over ten years, we have personal accounts, loan, credit card and our business account with them. This last year has been nothing but problems. Everyone makes up their own rules. Supervisor at Rojas location told me it all depends on how she's feeling. They decided to close our business account without even sending us something in writing. We found out when we tried to use our debit card because it was declined. Their excuse is that they can't handle all the transactions we make. A friend of ours also got their account closed for not making enough transactions. We try to withdraw funds and they only want to give us small amounts. Change banks if you can. At least somewhere you don't have to talk to someone through a computer.

Always used GECU for direct deposit, car loans and personal loans. To make everything easy and today I waited almost an hour waiting to ask for a personal loan just to be told I can't request one at location. I go online to ask for one and need to provide a proof of income. I used to like to get loans from them because the direct deposit with them took away some of the hassle of getting a loan but now I literally had to go somewhere else instead.

GECU has changed significantly over the years. Speaking to their customer service is terrible and they refuse to admit any fault. Calling GECU is extremely tiring. Without getting into specific details I asked one of your reps to send me documents proving their point and the representative was only able to say well your welcome to come into the location and see my computer screen. I have no confidence in GECU and putting my money in their account. I have documents proving my point from GECU and they basically said those documents should be ignored and I should come see them in person.. It doesn't make a lot of sense, why would I ignore the documents GECU sent me just because GECU is incapable of admitting fault. I would respect them more if they were able to just say we made a mistake but let me remedy it for you. They did no such things. Its a huge disappointment.
