I expected better customer care from a brick-and-mortar jewelry retailer. I paid over $250 for a gold chain for my daughter, and the clasp broke. I thought a quick trip to the store where I bought it would solve the problem. Wrong. Because I didn’t buy the “Extended Warranty” for $80, I was out of luck. My wife ended up taking it to a mom-and-pop jeweler in central El Paso, where they fixed it for just $10. Never again will I shop at Helzberg.
