I’ve been trying to get status of my refund that was mailed 1st of March. I tried several times via phone to speak with an agent and finally pressed the wrong button & got through to a person, however she was confused that I was calling for status of my refund and NOT making a payment. She transferred me to the refund dept. where an automated machine said that they were busy taking calls and to try back next day (which will most likely be the same message.). Interesting that you’re able to speak to someone immediately about paying them but no one to speak about your refund.? IRS should pay us interest for the delayed return

Been trying to talk to a live person and all the phone numbers provided forwards me ? to an answering machine. I enter the info to follow up on my refund and doesn't provide me with a response. But I bet if I owed they would easily put a live person to call me. Bad service. It's been 6 months and still haven't received my refund and couldn't get thru on the 1800 number. Also They don't give you any info at the downtown fed building . Bad public service.

Literally the worst service ever! Self help stations would be more efficient than the workers telling us to call a number to make an appointment that they know doesn’t work!
