Being remodeled and looks nice but the heater and AC don't work, and they don't have hot water in the shower. Would not recommend!

We came to the hotel to visit the restaurant for breakfast. It was very disappointing. It took 40 minutes before anyone took our order, even longer for the incorrect orders to be delivered. They charged us for food not received. The omelet my husband ordered was awful and the ordered muffin was .never brought to him nor the bacon. My scrambled eggs did not have the cheese as requested. The problems were to the point that my husband does not want to return.

Took the late night shuttle from the airport and stayed the night here with my wife. Service was great and the room was newly renovated. Hotel was quiet and clean.

This property charged me for 2 rooms using my points. I called the hotel but they said the second reservation confirmation number didn’t exist. My app and Titanium service confirmed that I was charged twice but the hotel had to handle the problem. I phoned back and they said it must be investigated. It’s very simple, someone at the hotel is a crook.

I just checked in. I have had nothing but problems since arriving. The parking garage is connected to the hotel via an elevator. There is a ramp on every other floor and stairs on the other floor. I did not know this and unsuccessfully carried my luggage down the stairs to the elevator and broke my brand new luggage wheel. The man checking me in was unkind. He should be working in some posh snotty department store the way he snickers at people. Then my room had a constant high whistling noise coming from the bathroom. I called asking for maintenance or a new room. They offered maintenance. The maontenance man was very friendly, but could not find the problem. I took a video recording of the whistling and walked down to the front desk to ask for a new room. You would think it was an inquisition. The 1st man I spoke to that took my maintenance phone call request was friendly.... But that snotty man that checked me in walked over and took over. He have me a new room but never apologized to me for the inconvenience. He handed me my room key and by then his woman go worker was standing behind him to watch. I looked at the man again, as if waiting for him to sat something nice like. Have a nice evening. Sorry for the inconcebience. Let me know if we can help you further. Anything... Even a smile. But instead i got snarly face. Worst man at the front desk. He does not belong there.

I don't even know where to begin, the service I received was so egregious. I arrived at the hotel on October 23, 2023 @ 12:00ish. I walked into the lobby and there was a gentleman at the counter checking in. I stood back and was waiting my turn; another person came out and begin chatting with the other clerk while she was assisting the gentleman. She was also eating something, I do not know her name, but I will describe her and try to be as descriptive as I can. There is no one else there who look like her: she has very long eyelashes, large lips, very long fingernails which are painted and decorated with ornate jewels, she is Hispanic. She did not acknowledge me at all, so I stood and waited. A gentlemen came down and stood next to me and she looked up and asked could she help him. He turned to me and said are you next? I said I should be, he said he was checking out (he had on a pilot uniform) I said then go ahead as I was checking in. She took him checked him out and continued to ignore me. So, I just stood there, a gentlemen came in in medical scrubs and she immediately said to him "can I help you?" I said excuse me I am waiting; the other clerk looks up and said to me "you said you didn't need any help." I said to her I did not say that I told the pilot he could go next since he was checking out. The medical gentlemen said, so sorry go ahead. She then proceeded to assist me with a very nasty attitude. I asked for a room with double beds, near the elevator (on my profile). I got up to the room 533, I believe and there was only a king bed. I went back downstairs and asked could I get a room with double beds near the elevator. She proceeded to give me a room at the VERY end of the hall, when I got to the room I called downstairs, out of breath and said this would not do. I went back downstairs and asked was there anything else available? she looks at her watch and proceeds to tell me that check-in is at 4:00;I told her I was very well aware as to what time check-in was and I had requested an early check-in. I went back upstairs and noticed there was no refrigerator in the room. I called to the front desk and the “busy body” another clerk (who until she decided to bud in when she wanted to defend her friend about me waiting so long) answered the phone. I asked her was there anyway to get another room (I cannot walk the length of that hall every day. I have numbed right leg, and bad knees) and told her there was no refrigerator in the room. She told me she did not have any other rooms until 4:00 and that this was a full-service hotel and they no longer had refrigerators in the room. I told her that was unacceptable, and would I be charged if I checked out. She said no, I could check out. I called the Marriott reservation number, and the very kind person helped me find another hotel close by. I went down and the rude lady who checked me in checked me out. I walked over and took a seat to call an Uber to take me to the new hotel. I have NEVER been treated so badly, disrespectfully in a Marriott in my entire life!! These people are rude and ignorant and by the way they should be careful who the talk about when the person is still right there. You never know who speaks your language and I did not appreciate them talking about me because they thought I did not understand. WRONG!!! I almost said something, but I was to very angry to engaged ignorance. I was at this hotel about six weeks (August 28 – September 1, 2023) ago and the same “made-up” girl was there, and she was rude then. I thought maybe she is just having a bad day but clearly, she has a problem and I won’t even go into what I know her issues are. It is a travesty that this person is the first person one encounters when the arrive at Marriott.

Second review after last night. Air conditioning in the room did not work, I asked last night to be moved, they said they didn’t have another room, but they would fix the air-conditioning today. They told me the manager would even call me this morning. The manager did not call, and when I got back to the room from work today at 5 PM, the temperature was 75° in the room, and the air conditioning was not working. They clearly did not send anyone up to fix the air conditioning. so I went back down to the front desk, and they said they would send someone up to fix the air conditioning. Two hours later I came back to the room, clearly someone was in the room because they turned the fan up to high and the temperature down to 58, and the temperature is 76°. I just called to talk to a manager again, and there’s no manager available. Probably will not get much sleep again tonight because it’s so hot. Do not waste your time staying at this hotel, there’s so many other better hotels. This hotel has gone downhill over the years, and I used to stay here quite a bit. OH, and ignore all of the fake one sentence 5 star reviews!!!! Focus on the real reviews by real people!!!Rooms: The rooms have been updated, well, as much as you can do with such an old hotel. However, the worst part, is that the sheets are part polyester, 100% cotton. They are rough and itchy, and I have no idea why they even thought about putting this sort of bedding in a room that they’re trying to renovate. It’s so bad. Please do not stay at this hotel, there’s plenty of other amazing properties in El Paso, at a lower price, and much more comfortable. I would recommend the Stanton Hotel downtown. Newly renovated, amazing food selection. I will never stay here againFood & drinks: So I’m a lifetime Bonvoy titanium member. I’ve stayed at this hotel several times. It just keeps getting worse. The M Club Is just awful. The attendant was a little clueless. They charge $10.50 for the worst wine in the world you would ever want to purchase. You would just turn around and walk away, which we did. Food selection in the M Club was pretty awful. Not what you would expect when spending $258 a night for a room. The bar was redone a few years ago, but the prices are ridiculous, and they have an updated the bar menu in years. See below for what I have to say about the rooms.

I fly out El Paso fairly often. The airport shuttle really is 24/7 here, requested a shuttle at four o’clock in the morning and it was no problemo. Also, the updated rooms are great - special thanks to Brianna at the front desk for looking out for a weary holiday traveler last week. She recommended I visit Natasha at the bar who was also first rate. Thx for the wonderful service and hospitality!

I booked the room via the Marriott app. Upon arrival, front desk advises the hotel is under renovation from 8am until 6pm and asks if that is okay. What am I to say at this point? No, my colleagues and I will go find a different hotel at this last minute. Once I got into my room, workers jack hammering the room directly above me. I went to the front desk to ask for a different room on the first floor where my colleague was located and advised he didn’t hear any notice. She said, I said still hear the noise down in the lobby and so no room was better. I figured fine, the workers will quit soon. They jack hammered until 6pm. The next two afternoons wasn’t as bad, but was still loud and could not rest or hear the television. My room was in desperate need of renovation. Very outdated.House cleaning did a nice job everyday. The hotel offered status members breakfast in the concierge lounge. The first morning I was there at 6:40am. The eggs and sausage were empty. When we advised the server, she replied more was coming but her tone and attitude were not pleasant at all. So, I thought I would have a cup of coffee and wait with my colleagues. Drank my first cup and went for a second cup; empty! This was 7am. Ended up leaving at 7:40am with no eggs or coffee. The next morning, eggs and potatoes were being served but were not that warm. Coffee was again empty after one cup. It should be noted, neither day was packed with other hotel guests.I will say at the the night time bar service, Natsha was great. She provided very good service. After every stay at a Marriott, without fail, I receive a survey email. This timeI did not. I wonder if that was on purpose because they know how many bad surveys they will get.
