The cashier lady is amazing, and also a great dog trainer she should get a raise if she hasn’t yet! Very knowledgeable when it comes to dog training, let alone communicating with animals. She might be the animal whisperer 😳😱🫢

*** Military *** This is the only location in El Paso that has issues giving your military discount stacked with a sale. If you want to maximize savings this is the last spot to go due to their management at this location.
On black Friday I went for a particular sale at every Petsmart in town. This is the only one that gave issues. Save time, save money and go to any of the other locations if you want your discount honored for military service.
Staff is great here, issue is the manager (one in particular) and if you are not military its the same as any other Petsmart.

I went in to get canned cat food (Fancy Feast) and found it frustrating that whoever is stocking the shelves is not taking the plastic wrap off of the boxes of the cans that are sold individually. I had to tear the plastic open, which isn’t easy because it’s thick and on there so tightly. I guess next time I’ll bring my own scissors, or just go to another location where they do take the plastic off.

I went in for a self filling water bowl for cats. They were not where I previously saw them. I strolled through the store in search but was not able to find them. I looked for an employee of the store. When I found her, she looked in doubt, but found them quickly. I was expecting to spend $10-$20. She handed me a $49 item. I thanked her and commented on the price.
I searched through the feeders and found one that was $169. I kept searching the aisle until i found a $16 feeder. I bought it.
I cleaned it when I got home and proceeded to fill it with water. The problem was that it would not hold the water so I could fill it up. I finally realized I purchased a hard food feeder, not a water feeder. I'm getting dumber everyday.

Absolutely unacceptable conditions the bettas are kept in. Came here weeks ago and saw this horrendously filthy betta cup with neon green sludge water. Couldn’t afford to get him but left hoping they would at least give him clean water because most of the other betta cups had cleaner looking water. Came back today and his cup was STILL absolutely disgusting. Thankfully I had the means to take him home today and give him the care he deserves. This is disgusting and sad treatment of a living animal especially since his cup alone was by far the worst. You could see the bright green from half way across the store. Do better Petsmart. A simple water change takes a few minutes at most for a cup that size and there’s no reason this fish’s water alone should have ever gotten that bad. Very disappointed but glad he’s in good hands with me now. Have a bit of consideration and compassion for a living creature that depends on you for survival and care.

Jackie is always very attentive to make sure I get the best possible deals I can get on their items. She's very patient and understanding. Very much aware and informative of animals and their needs. Very helpful with the several pets and items I've purchased there. She's my "go to" person. Highly recommend asking for her.

I had a curbside order for prescription dog food that wasn't ready the same day when I stopped by to pick it up. The manager assisted me, checked my order and helped me understand how my pending order could be canceled so that I could get my pet's food while in the store. Wonderful service and it's nice to see staff and a manager that really care about their customers! Thank you!

PetSmart is simply the place to go when you need pet supplies at a competitive price with online retailers. The staff is usually friendly and busy, registers rarely have lines. My dog likes smelling the cat food.

The staff are always so helpful and knowledgeable.

I went in to get crickets and spent 10 minutes wandering around like an idiot trying to find someone to to their damn job. Do you think I have nothing better to do with my time? Petsbarn took care of me and I didn't have to go hunt down an employee.

Lazy, disrespectful, obnoxious people. Im waiting for assistance in the fish department and when I see they don't want to help me I ask for assistance and what does the girl in the register say with a big smirk on her face. Sorry we just stopped selling fish 3 minutes ago. It's 6:33PM they close until 7PM. What can you expect when you have management that will lie to cover there employees just to close early.
