βFood City is awesome, I miss the Fox Plaza one, but it's cool to see familiar faces here. The meat and produce prices are great, and they have the best flour tortillas, no contest!β
βSince the economy tanked, I started going here. The beef and chicken are from a trusted source, the vegetables are clean, and you can trust that most products aren't from China. Did you know that you can buy buffalo meat here? Many restaurants buy their products here, too. I actually love that they play 80s music over the speakers. 4 stars for the reduced vegetable choices and no deli. But they only have so much room.β
βWalmart is my favorite store because it has products within reach of every budget, and they stock the store every day so there are fresh products. I love that the bathrooms are cleaned often, and the employees are very friendly. And if you want to entertain yourself a little, just sit on a bench at the entrance and you will see so many different people.β
βAMAZING STAFF! I was struggling to find a lip balm and a guy with curly hair stopped what he was doing just to help me find what I needed. Steven was the name on his tag, my mother is always here and says heβs always nice to her.β

βThe people working here they are super friendly and helpful, I went to get some carne para asar amd they were surprised of how much I order and asked why and I told them I has several guests and they made a recommendation of a different type of carne and even offered to cut it in half so I wouldn't spend that much money for my reunion.. they really care about the quality and the priceβ
βI have been a daily customer of this location for a little over 2 years. All of the employees are great. Courteous, helpful, and obviously like their jobs. Kudos to them and the management.β
βAlways great prices and great selection! Much better place to go if you are only shopping for food! It is not as crowded as Walmart. I feel like I can get in and out for what I needed instead of wandering around in Walmart for hours and buying a lot of stuff that I didn't intend to get.β
βI had a hard time looks for some baking soda. I was literally loosing my mind looking for it and there seemed to be no associate in sight. Just when I was ready to give up, itβs as if an angel appeared themselves before me and offered me assistance. Her name was Rosie. She almost held my hand and walked me to the aisle where the baking soda was. I have never experienced customer service like that in any Walmart that I have been too! Rosie TL, if youβre reading this, you deserve a raise and much more!β
βThis Wal Mart is okay. I just feel like there's a turnover of employees since they only put two of them at the register. Everything else is for our doing. We gotta scan our own items as if we work there. Also, I am not submissive of the fact that their beauty aisle has products that are locked and there is not one employee nearby whenever I want to request an item from the locked section. Please improvise and do better. I understand that this market is next to a high school and rotten people are bound to steal, but at least be available. Also, I've been searching for melatonin like crazy down every aisle and they only had an infant version of the product. Maybe a market for buying certain items, but I don't really depend on it as my main grocery errand.β
βThey have almost anything you need cleaning groceries beer lotto tickets toys give it a try if you haven't specially if you live near this place you don't have to go to far for the stuff you need.β
βI was purchasing some items and I asked Michelle for some assistance. Not only did she go above and beyond to help me but pointed me in the right direction and I was able to do my shopping super quick.β
βI used their "Scan & Go". It was quick, but only because there weren't any people waiting in self checkout. There should be a machine just for the customers using "Scan & Go" so they don't have to wait with everyone else just to Scan a code at final checkout.β
βI am now happy with the amount of merchandise that they have available in the N.E. store. When they had their grand opening; they were practically wiped out. And it took a very long time to receive enough merchandise to fill the store back to capacity; like a month. But now it's fully stocked, & has plenty of variety. I love the prices & the Customer Service as well.β

βIn the El Paso area this is my favorite place to grocery shop. There are signs as you come if that introduces you to Food King math basically add 10% to each item... I feel prices are still fair, certainly a better value than most of your other options. The staff was friendly too.β
βIf you like to save and find everything of good quality, this is your place. I always leave very happy because I save on food and the quality never changes. My sister and her little support dog really enjoyed it.β

βThey should make employees park on the edge so the rest of the parking be for the customers.n9t that the customers have to park far to go to Walmart because all employees on the parking. There's some employees young and in-between that could walk well. There just lazy.β
βIt's convenient, close to my house and I'm in and out with no wait time. The only negative thing is , pack a lunch if you're in the customer service line because you're going to be standing in line for a while ?They're slow and then the associates laugh and talk amongst themselves instead of concentrating on the customers.β
βstore is set up in a way that you can find all the things you are needed, quickly and without the hassle of going to a larger wal mart supercenter. or makeing multiple stops like with other grocery store around. store is very clean and very rearly are the shelves not neat and fully stocked, the staff has always been super friendly and eager to assist in any way they can. from actually showing you where a item is as opposed to just stating an isle number, and also if item is missing are willing to go into the back storage to ensure they are out of stock of missing item you are resquesting help with. if possible will be doing most shopping here or walmart supercent not far from this location
Update oct. 2024.... they recently remodeled a few isles and it seems there is more inventory available of different things not before offered in this store which makes things more convenient then having to go to the super center. And the staff are very friendly and accomidateing, maybe more so now then before.β
βGreat service and great selection. I have come here and gotten some very good tasting food but other times not so good. They definitely have to invest more time in food safety. I do love the fresh tortillas!β

I like the food very much, you should try the menudo a definitely the bread, it is amazing.

βNice grocery and produce selections, small enough for quick visits. Only problem is they have problems accepting some bank cards but there's an ATM in front of the cash registers if you don't mind the trouble.β
