My 90-year-old mom insists on banking here, but you can NEVER just call and talk to someone. If you go in the branch they are very friendly and helpful, then they give you their card to call them for a follow-up or to finish the transaction, and just try to reach someone it's ridiculous!! We have had to go in for every little thing that could quickly be fixed over the phone if the bank officers would just give you their direct number or even the branch number!

Went to open an account with my daughter. They declined me because in their system they said I made a loan with GOLDEN BANK., located MORNING SIDE MALL.on or around 1978. That was 45 years ago. I asked for information to see signature and paper work that they may have in micro film or chip and they couldn't provide one. I am very adamant I DID NOT make this loan. It's their word against mine but they can't prove it to me. It's not in my credit report but in if I had known about it back then, i would've acted on it. We didn't have the technology we have today to check on our credit. If you the type of person that cares about your credit., believe me i would've remembered borrowing this money. They said i borrowed 3500.00. I did NOT have that kind of income to qualify for that big of a loan back then . I have Chase and I'm SO HAPPY with them. Been a member of Chase since 2000. I never ever have had any problems with CHASE.

I have been banking with them for over 20 years and had issues all the time. Since the "name change" things have gotten worse. Which honestly I didn't think it was possible. Now with the new system my truck payment was sent to me via check because the system will not pay to GECU. I've had to cover late fees due to the incompetence of RAIZ. Now I pay extra for GECU to just pull from my account instead due to lack of trust in RAIZ. Every time I try to make a change in the bill pay I get hit with errors. Now as I'm adjusting payment schedules to best help us pay for our daughters treatments and infusions, I cant yet again make changes due to yet more system errors. This facility has become a joke, no tellers willing to help (the ONE that may be available). Wait in the branch has been up to 2 hours. All to be told "Oh I don't know what's going on its best if you just make payments direct and pay the transaction fees do you need checks?" stay away Personalized banking, honorable and user friendly is NOT something this entity can do nor handle. If you want a headache, problems and no response, call backs this is the bank for you. RAIZ DOES NOT TAKE ACCOUNTABILITY FOR THE SCREW UPS THEY MAKE AND CAUSE . I love your bank . I've come here for help in side your bank and have spoken to the ladies inside . They are very friendly and helpful. But you have to do something about you drive- thru. I was there 10 minutes plus and not one car moved. I dred coming through the drive thru. ?

Worst banking in El Paso. You have to wait for everything. You can’t use the tellers anymore. Systems are slow always. I quick visit to the bank took my whole lunch hour. Really no customer service. Too slow!! Suggest closing your accounts here.

In the Rojas branch, the employees who assisted me deserve 5 star rating. These employees quickly fixed an issue with my account preventing it from having double drafts. The employees who assisted me through the “texting” service deserve negative rating, they are rude and will end the text conversation whenever they feel it’s time and are unable to resolve the issue. This service provided by Raíz texting is pathetic. I feel eliminating the employees handling these services would benefit your members by providing better interest rates, benefits or employing additional employees at your branch to assist its members. I’ve been a member for about 30years and love my credit union, in my opinion this is the type of cancer that will ruin a business and make members want to find alternatives.

Raiz is Horrible, Don't bank here. Since their system upgrade, I've heard excuse after excuse. A particular Friday- I went in to make a withdrawal from my account. After waiting 45 minutes in line at the drive-thru in 109-degree weather I get to the teller and she tells me the "internet" is down. She can take my cash deposit but to get any money back I have to go into the ATM. Go in and guess what the ATM is down too. The stupid lady goes on to tell me that I will have to come back the next day to make any withdrawals to my account. This has been happening over the last week and they don't know when the system will be going down or coming back up for that matter. She says this is why you shouldn't keep all your $$ at the same bank so you have other options. Seriously? Why wouldn't you have someone outside telling people don't wait in line because we can't support them? She said it was too hot. Um ok; not hot for us waiting in our cars. Yesterday I made a mobile deposit and never received any kind of notification. I went in and saw the daily allowance was reduced by the exact amount of deposit I just made. Today I log in to my bank and my deposit is still not reflected. 2 hours after talking to 3 people (2 of which claimed to be managers) I got there was a glitch in the system; you have to wait yet another day for the deposit to be posted as it was just processed today. Why? It was a glitch. What glitch who is responsible? The resolution was to come into a bank and make the physical deposit for it to post quickly. You guys are a joke truly. I have 2 car payments with you and you will literally only get that payment from now until I can find a solution to get those accounts out of your bank. Horrible customer service and the lack of ability to find deposits is a JOKE! Make sure you call and check on yours every single time!!! DO NOT BANK HERE@!

I went into this bank to exchange cash for coins only to be told to go through the drive-thru. So I then went into the drive-thru and sat for about 20 minutes in line; I was not greeted when I first sent my stuff through the tube. It took about 10 minutes for them to tell me that if I didn’t bank with them, they wouldn’t help me. Had they greeted me and found out what both parties needed before wasting my time, I wouldn’t be writing this review. Seems like something the front desk person would also ask about before sending me to the drive-thru.

Drive thru took 40 minutes while I was waiting on call for them to reset my bank access password, finally after waiting 25 min on the phone I gave up and hung up.

Horrible service drive thru takes over 30 min to just make a payment. I sent my canister and took over 5 min until I called and they where very rude telling me they just got my canister. How long can they travel. You need to work on customer service and stop trying to sell your services. If my truck loan wasn’t here I wouldn’t never even stop by. Can’t walk inside do anything as they are to lazy to help.

This is a shameful establishment that calls themselves a "credit union". RAIZ is a joke. Don't bank there. They collected truck payments for months and then turned around and said they do not know where the payments were sent and proceeded to tow my truck. I went in person, took my copies of the payments that were made and they still said they did not know where those payments were. I had to pay $3000 to get my truck back. No including the additional $750 at the towing agency. Now that this happened to me, I find out I'm not the only victim. I'm refinancing my auto loan elsewhere. Employees and management were no help.

I have had an amazing experience since the get go. Sarah Armendariz assisted me and went above and beyond with helping me with my banking needs and set up my payment withdrawals. She made sure that everything was correct and double checked for me. This branch has made banking easy and easy, excellent customer service.

You can be a great customer to this bank for years but if you have a problem that doesnt financially benefit them, they will keep you on the phone for hours and not help you in the slightest. It also seems like every person who works here contradicts each other and doesnt know the rules to their own company. And if you tell them someone told you something different they will treat you even worse. If you try to make an appointment with someone in charge they will either tell you you cant or tell you they will have that person call you back and that NEVER happens. We never did anything wrong or missed a payment and we still havent gotten our issue resolved. I 100% regret giving this bank any of our business, and hopefully this will warn anyone who is trying to decide if this is the right bank for them.
