Just called to get some information about the place. Talked to Jessica, inquired about the equipment and reason for the price. Was very taken back by the question. Inquired to talk to someone else bc it f3lt like were arguing than talking. Said there was no one else. Would have to call again to get someone else instead of talking to someone now. Swing and a miss with customer service here

Horizon location has amazing staff. Gym size is right for the amount of people. But damn equipment is not maintained. It's been weeks and in some cases even months that they have had equipment not working or needing maintenance. People using the leg extension getting rash by rubbing on the torn pad. They have a treadmill that's been out of service for a long time. Just an fyi when coming here.

Why is it that when I get calls about my payment being late/overdue (and I pay them) but when I call/ask to cancel my membership it becomes hard to contact someone? It feels as if no one is working but janitors who don’t know how to work the system. I call no one picks up, I leave messages I get ignored, I go in person no one is working. At this point I recommend just get yourself a new card and let the business suffer in its own debt

This place deserves a one star only...I had a membership for 3 months with no contract, no papers were signed, no paperwork whatsoever (which I thought that was very odd) I kept getting charged extra every month. This place is very unorganized and very unprofessional. Do better.

Reported to BBBI cancelled my membership. They continued to debit my bank account. I let it go for one month thinking it was because I emailed my cancellation request after a cut off date. My account continued to get debited membership dues. I called more than a dozen times and left messages to no avail.I filed a claim through the Better Business Bureau, BBB. I sent a copy of my cancellation request to the BBB, included in the email was company’s email address, time and date.The BBB has tried to contact this gym. Letters were sent and phone calls have been ignored by this company to the BBB. ThE BAR FITNESS has yet to answer any of my calls and emails to cancel my membership along with BBB’s letters and emails.It seems this gym has a history of doing this devious tactic of not cancelling memberships for customers. Other people have reported in their review of Bar Fitness that they don’t like to cancel people’s membership so they can continue collecting membership dues.I cancelled my membership because the gym was subpar. It is a small gym. There is hardly any room between equipment. Kids work out at night with hardly any clothes on. The place is disgusting and unsanitary.

I really like this gym! I’ve gone really early between 6 and 7 am. There’s a guy that shows up with his dog! The first time I saw guy with his dog, the dog was quiet. Second time, I walked in and i smelled a foul odor then realized OHH that where the foul smell was coming from. It did smell like stinky wet dog! Then, fig kept barking and barking and barking! Very disruptive when one tries to dedicate some time to oneselve! Not a peaceful environment early in the morning. Is the dog owner the business owner? I wonder? By the way this is no service dog!
