“The guys at c&m did a great job on my 4Runner. I took it in for a lift kit install and they had it in and out quick. 4Runners are notorious for having a shudder in the steering wheel when you mess with the suspension but they put it on a laser alignment machine and got it perfect. They suggested that I get upper control arms which I did some research on and agreed and they installed those also. My 4Runner drives better and looks awesome. Thanks guys!”

“Daniel cordoba is the best, man took my car to other shops told me they couldn’t do it even though I accidentally drained out my transmission even though I gave them permission to put in the transmission fluid that I bought even told them I’ll pay them full price because it was an emergency, but that’s when Daniel came in for the rescue fully recommended if your in a tight situation.”

I am SO HAPPY to have finally found an honest, fast, fairly priced VW mechanic. Took me YEARS. They switched my clutch in a day when others told me it would take a week. They also charged me honestly, my parts were cheaper than they had quoted me because I needed an older model, so they charged me cheaper. I NEVER would have known they used a different part. If they keep this up in never leaving them. ?
I basically never do reviews, but good mechanics are so hard to come by.”

I brought my car over for a concerning noise in the transmission. They inspected it for a fair price and found the actual problem in the drivetrain, no costly transmission rebuild needed. Now I have peace of mind that my car is safe to use, and I will definitely return when it's time for a repair or replacement.
A few years ago they also replaced the transmission in my father's Mustang and it runs fantastic.”

This is the best place to trust and to take your car too. I've been to plenty of Mexican shops in El Paso. And because I'm a foreigner, I've trusted more foreign shops that are run by a boss that's from a foreign country, not Mexico. So I've never been screwed over or ripped off like plenty of other Mexican shops in El Paso who try to rip you off. I want to have my own shop one day so I'm learning a lot from this guy and most of all I always help people with their cars as well on the side it's a hobby until I get really good. I've had no issues with the shop or the mechanics. Very professional. Very polite. Great deals and most of all affordable. I wish I could give them 10 Stars for review. Best shop in El Paso!”

“Johnny has worked on two of my Ramp Vans. He overhauled my transmission on a 1995 Dodge B2500. And never had problems after that. He also overhauled my transmission on a 2013 E250 Ford Van. And also never have had no problems with my Transmission on either of my Wheelchair ramp Vans . I recommend Texican Transmission shop ? Johnny is super Honest. Because when I took both of my vans when they first broke to different transmission shops. To get estimates he was cheaper on price. But also told me what needed to be replaced. Instead of adding extra things that need to be replaced. Even the Ford dealership was telling me that I needed to rebuild something else besides the transmission. When I got the tow truck to take my van to his shop. There was a fire truck from Ruidoso Nm. In his shop and it had the same problem that happened to my transmission. So he was able to show me what exactly what he was going to do to my transmission. He even went over and above and drilled some of holes. On something on my transmission Example that when you were stopped at a red light the oil would not oil some of the gears on the transmission because of something Ford the Dealer should have recalled but they haven't. So I recommend Johnny ?. This is V Maes. That is in a wheelchair ♿️.”

The team there knows exactly what they are doing. Shopped around to get quotes on some trouble codes my gauge tuner gave me. The dealership was already mentioning replacing parts and cost without even taking a look at the vehicle. Ernie and his team knew right away that those error codes didn’t make any sense to my vehicle and why it’s not powering on. They found the issue and got me back in my truck without breaking the bank.

“My husband and I called on Saturday (7/26/25) because the engine of our car wouldn’t turn over. Lights, a/c and the dash would light up, but the engine wouldn’t turn over!! We spoke to Martin (Ruben’s son who now runs the business) & he said he could come take a look Sunday morning. He showed up like he promised and found the problem & was able to fix it!!! It was a small, electrical wire that connects to the alternator which was severed. This gentleman knows his stuff and he does what he says! We highly recommend Ruben’s Mobile Auto Repair!”

I'm still very pleased with the services this shop offers. They are my go to mechanics now. Yes there's been some trial and error on an issue I had but all understandably so; my truck is a bit old and it's a Dodge so I've been learning a lot about it's particular faults. Regardless they always make it right by not charging for something. At one point I wasn't charged at all since it was an easy fix. They put parts under warranty and when I come in with this or that issue I can trust that I'll be taken care of. I'm seeing these low rating reviews about how rude they are. I think rude is the wrong word. I'd rather describe them as not kissing ass and straight to buisness. I'd rather have a real acquaintance than a fake buddy. They haven't ripped me off so that's fair in my book.”
