They wanted to scam me by saying that I damaged the truck I rented for just one day, 430 dollars for a scratch it already had, the good thing is that before driving the truck I recorded the entire truck inside and out, outside their parking lot and they free from that scam they tried to do with me. What made me most angry was I called the place where I rented it and they couldn't tell me where it was that I supposedly damaged the vehicle and I dialed a number they gave me and they couldn't tell me either until I called customer service and then there. Yes, they told me what it was and where, but I had that video recorded and it was what saved me because in that video there is that alleged line that I made and the time that I recorded the video before using the vehicle. Beware of the scam that is U-Haul. They wanted to charge me for something I didn't do and a cleaning but I didn't get it dirty and also extra miles which I only did 34 and supposedly I could use 50 so I don't understand. They just wanted to get money, that was out of place.

The manager is super rude, be careful when renting because they wanted to blame us for a crash and also wanted me to pay for the crash there. This place is not recommended at all, great service.

If I could I would leave 0 stars my husband had a reservation at 5:45 we arrived at 5:49 door was closed and everything was already shutdown because they close at 6!! Horrible if you are not going to follow the reservations then just dont rent them out.?

Horrible service & overcharge. We rented a U-Haul from the owners Elsie and Joe Hernandez for 24hours. When we called to see if we could add another day, they threatened to call the police and report the U-Haul stolen if we didn’t return it by 9am the next morning (not even allowing us to extend the rental for another 24 hours). We return it by 9am as they demanded and they ended up charging us for 3 days... We understood there would be an up charge, but the childish and threatening behavior this couple displayed was insane and completely unacceptable. There are a lot of U-Haul rentals in El Paso, save yourself the headache, and go to a different one.

These people allow double booking, and they don’t tell you until you arrive for pick up. Based on whose reservation is longer and ultimately makes them more money is the reservation they end up picking and then they tell the other reservation to return it earlier. SCUMMY service. The viejo that attended us was the worst.

Only giving 1 star cause that's the lowest I can go. Very unprofessional. Old man behind counter is rude and unprofessional. Had mechanic come in to office, as if he was going to do something. All because I disagreed with him. Told him I was going to report him to uhaul. His response was "go ahead" . I recommend the one right up the street on paisano is Much better customer service.
