The store is amazing! The vibes are mad cool and they’ve got every brand you can think of along with any kind of clothing like Socks, Hoodies, dresses, sweatpants and seasonal attire like Halloween sections! I always go there with loads of money because I know Im going to end up with something while leaving! I’d really recommend 10/10 would go again

The store associates have their hands full but each one of them was kind & helpful during the time I spent happily browsing the aisles. . although an optional espresso shot would have gladly welcomed :)

I love coming to Uptown Cheapskate for my clothing, it is the only place I go to for upgrading my wardrobe because the staff is so helping and caring enough to help me pick the best items for me. Uptown Cheapskate also has the best items for a unique look that you won’t find anywhere else. Lots of potential for amazing outfits.

I took a bag of clothes that I never wore but maybe once and were high end pieces. And out of the bag they only took three items and gave me 13.00. Like seriously. That’s not even 10 percent of the total I paid for them. This is highly disappointing. Maybe that’s why they use the word “cheapskates” in their business name. And if you look around, most over their items start at 15.99 just got accessories. What a rip off. You mean to tell me that you are only going to sell each piece for less than 16 dollars a piece ?! I doubt it. When they state will give you 25-35 percent of what they are going to price your item at. I get this is a business but don’t rip people off

I love coming here, it is more expensive than your typical savers or any thrift store but keeping in mind that they are things mainly bought from places like shein, forever 21, guess and so many more.. a lot of items are cheaper than they would be at the store itself. The staff is super nice and i usually end up leaving with more than i anticipated ?love ittt!! ? ?

Employees are super polite and friendly. However they wait time is ridiculous!!! Big duffel of what i thought were some good quality clothes but they only took 5 items which was pretty weird. But whatever i guess.

So I have reason to believe this store steals inventory and even steals from donated goods meant for CASFV.I have enjoyed shopping here and sell/ donate often as I really support CASFV and what they do in EP. I have been supporting the organization since nursing school. I had a questionable selling experience. I dropped off 4 bags of designer, new with tags, and clothing from my own store to sell, I opted to donate what they didn’t buy.I received an unusually low buy offer for what I dropped off-which is fine, I mainly sell here because I was under the impression that what they don’t take goes to the greater good. I asked to donate the items , which is what I usually do- but asked if I could have my bags back instead since the buy was so low and the value of the clothing was high so I could go through it before donating.Weirdly, the manager called me immediately and told me 3/4 bags had already been “donated”, which I find odd since it was just hours between when I had dropped off the bags, and I also found it odd that not all the bags had been donated together…today when I went in to pick up the 1 bag- one of the employees was wearing one of the sweaters from my bags… I recognized it because it was a return from my online store. It makes me question what exactly happens to these donated items. I probably won’t be selling here anymore and just donate straight to CASFV or charity.I understand they’re donated items but if the staff are able to take from items that are supposed to be donated to charity that is really unethical and it’s stealing…I mainly shop here based off the principal of recycling and who the organization supports but today really made me question the ethics behind this store. I’m a business owner myself and really support any organization that helps women in need in El Paso- I am curious as to what is going on, I wouldn’t have sold my things here if I knew people were allowed to take from donations. When I picked up my bag it had a bunch of “donation” stickers on it and all the empty bags from my “donation” were shoved in this bag… I have a feeling they stole most of my items and the bag left was the actual donation that was going to go to CASFV…. They bought 29 items, I dropped off about 150; and received back in the bag 10. The 10 were of course the few no name brand or more used items… I am certain this is what they were going to donate. What’s worse is they let me have a CASFV receipt! Lol. The girl was very apprehensive to give me a receipt too.. IRS, it isn’t me don’t come after me lol. I had friends tell me not go go here that they steal, but holy moly stealing from a women’s shelter’s donated goods is really bad. I hope I can get clarification, though no one would admit to stealing like this.Don’t sell here, especially anyone with higher volume of clothes- just donate it, at least you know it’s going to a good cause vs going into an employee’s closet or free inventory for the store.

DO NOT SELL HERE ‼‼$6 for two XL trash bags of clothes and they tell you you cannot leave the store until they're done, (1 hour 30 minutes for me) and if you do you are forced to to donate the rest of your items. The price for their items is cheap, but at a minimum 10 times the price they offer for your clothes, and the selection is pretty below average. A lot of their good boots are wrinkled beyond the value you pay for, overall not a great business.
