“I highly recommend this establishment for animal care. We had an emergency with our 80lb dog on Saturday 1/3/26. We decided to go to Crossroads Veterinary clinic because the reviews for the in town Las Cruces vets are not that great.
CROSSROADS VETERINARY CLINIC is the best. The counter staff, the vet techs and the Veterinarian were all extremely professional and showed genuine concern for our dog. The were able to perform lab work with some results in 7 minutes. They prescribed meds, explained everything concerning care for our dog and even suggested online resources to get meds for a lesser cost. We only had waited a few minutes to be seen.

“My turtle was badly injured in an accident and Dr. Harvey saw us as an urgent appointment in afternoon, when many other vets turned us away for not seeing exotics. Dr Harvey knew to administer antibiotics and pain meds for my turtle and clean out and bandage his wounds. The vet techs were very kind and reassuring as well.”

“We unfortunately were presented with the difficult decision to lay our 17 yr old chihuahua, snoop to rest. We were welcomed with compassion, we were informed, and my baby was advocated for. We were provided with a peaceful space to put our Snoop to rest, accompanied with a prayer from the Doctor. In addition! We received his ashes and so many beautiful things; like some of his hair, his paw print/ snout print & a thoughtful card. Thank you so much to all the staff and Doctor for guiding us through such a rough time. We will always be grateful.”

“I went to take my dog Honey in for a first time exam, and I was not disappointed. Was greeted by the receptionist Marla, who was super sweet. From my understanding its a father and son team, I saw the son. Dr. Navar and he was great. He took the time to answer all of my questions thoroughly. “We've talken our previous dogs, as well as our current fur child to Vista Hills Animal Hospital. We have always been treated well by the staff, from technicians to doctors. This is a full service animal hospital where your fur babies will be well taken care of. I also like that they have a nice grassy and shaded area out front where you can also wait as your dog happily romps around to be called in.”

“I will never tire of a medical care center that has genuine compassionate employees and concerns for the animal itself and for their owners. It was a truly bittersweet experience given I had to take my pet to emergency, however the greatness of availability this place had at the moment was the only way I would suggest for anyone to go. All the people I interacted with were very loving and attentive, reflectively listening and slow to give easy response. They weren't speaking like perhaps some medical personnel can with a hollowness to their tone, speaking over you, repeating the same answers to different questions. They did NOTHING like that. It was all kindness and supportive and that any per owner would appreciate from emergency care for their furry loved ones. “Today was our first visit to VH Animal Hospital. It was a positive experience from the get-go. We were well received by the staff and their house kitties. The waiting area was comfortable and clean. It seemed by conversations we heard, that there may have been a little staff shortage, so the longer than expected wait was understandable. When it was our turn, Dr S took his time and answered all of our questions. Overall, a great introductory visit. We'll definitely go back.”

“I was referred to Dr. Silverman by the hospital veterinarian because my dog had a complex break, and Dr. Silverman is the only board-certified specialist in El Paso and New Mexico. Like many people, I always read reviews before choosing a business especially when something as important as my pet’s life is on the line.
When I looked up Dr. Silverman, I saw mixed reviews. They weren’t the best, but they also weren’t the worst. I felt that if he were truly as bad as some reviews suggested, there would be far more negative feedback than there actually was. I was nervous, but I decided to trust my gut.
From the moment I made the appointment through checking on my dog after surgery, everyone has been incredibly kind and helpful. My consultation with Dr. Silverman was great he made me feel important, never rushed, and spent about an hour going over everything in detail. He explained his recommendations, discussed all our options, answered every question we had, and was very confident in what he was doing. I never had a bad feeling about him or the surgery; I genuinely felt at ease.
He also provided clear pricing information, showing us both the lower and higher ends of the cost depending on certain decisions, which I really appreciated. During and after the surgery, both Dr. Silverman and Desiree called to keep me updated on how my sweet boy was doing. The day after surgery, I received another follow-up call with an update.
Everyone I’ve met there has been nothing but kind and supportive. The staff truly seems happy, and I believe that says a lot about Dr. Silverman and how he treats his team. Desiree and Morgan at the front desk are always patient, willing to help, and happy to answer any questions.
I am very grateful that I chose Dr. Silverman and his staff to care for my sweet boy and that I didn’t let a few negative reviews sway me. I hope this review helps others who may be in the same position I was. My dogs are my life, and I expect nothing but the best for them and that’s exactly what I feel we received here. ??”
