Just spent an hour filling my cart with most likely over $300 on groceries and household goods. Got to front of store at 10:10am with no cashiers open. Customer service agent said that cashiers don't come in until 11am. I'll be damned if I'm gonna wait 50 minutes. When I told her I wasn't going to ring up my merchandise, she said I could just leave the cart there. So, no offer of her ringing it up for me. Now the refrigerated items will most likely sit there until after 11am. I will not be going to this Walmart EVER again. This company has really gone down hill now that they have put everyone else out of business I hope I'm alive long enough for this crap business to go out of business themselves. Food King here I come!

Toilet paper not on the floor like we have in Houston!! This is the first time I have ever been to a Walmart where the bathroom was clean and the toilet paper was not on the floor but on the roll!!!

The service helpers at the self checkout are beyond rude and snappy , then again what would you expect from a couple of teenagers who have nothing better to do with their life besides make everyone else's miserable . I definitely don't recommend coming to this place .

My visit was great. The security out front was friendly and welcoming. The store looks recently updated. I would love for this Walmart to replace my local Walmart please.

Tried to find an isle looking for an item with the app. It took forever to find an employee and when I found one she was so rude I told her I was looking for a certain aisle and she rudely answered what are you looking for I showed her the app and she said what is that I said what it was and she continued to say I don't know what that is that looks like a cup and all I asked for was an aisle in which the item was in.

Glad to see this place re-opened although clearly Yelp missed the boat on that. This place had been open for months but Yelp still had it closed which means you couldn't check in or add pics. Place is as busy as always, and there is extra security around in case more morons decide they have to come here and kill Mexicans.

During my time in El Paso I have become well acquainted with this particular Walmart location. We spent most of our time trying to pick up food and supplies and I'm pretty sure we made a stop here at least once a day while we were there. This is like most other Walmart locations so don't expect it to be glitzy or glamorous. Unlike other Walmarts, this supercenter has a grocery section and warm foods as well. Sorry vegetarians, you'll have a hard time finding something to eat here that isn't a carbohydrate. They have a pharmacy here but items they typically carry (face masks, thermometers, pulse ox) were not available. However the people here were friendly and quick to offer alternative locations where I might be able to find the items I needed. They aisles for electronics, home goods, garden, outdoor activity, school/stationery and foods. They have plenty of check out stations as well including self check out station making a quick in and out. For a Walmart, this place wasn't bad. Just make sure you bring plenty of Purell with you after you shop here!

I ordered 2 pairs of glasses for my son on a Monday. They said they would be delivered on Thursday. By Sunday only one pair was there and the prescription in one of the lenses was wrong. The system said the other pair would be here today (4 days late). They said try back on Wednesday.... 6 days after they were supposed to be here in the first place. When calling to see if the glasses arrived (the 2nd pair), the associate hung up on me 3 times when placing me on hold. I had to call back twice. There are panhandlers left and right in the parking lot. I'm used to that. What I'm not used to is them approaching my car and spraying down my windshield. It's over crowded. The parking lot is a demolition derby. Take the time to drive to the next Walmart and avoid this one. The one star was because the glasses themselves were incredibly inexpensive. I'm used to spending $300 for 2 pairs. I got 2 pairs here for about $150. But.... I could have gotten the same deal at the Walmart near my house, so there's that.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I live like .03 miles from this Walmart yet I always drive to the one on Yarbrough, it's sooo much nicer than this one. It's always dirty, pretty sure the AC is out all the time because it's always hot there. People side swipe your car and just leave, there people tapping on your window to wash your windows. The staff is alright, all my run in have been okay, but this location has a weird selection of food and other products. Also their self check out lanes never have cash options, they're always broken. I suggest just going the extra mile and go to the other one. Or if you can go on base just go to the commissary. This Walmart is one of the WORST I've been to.

Horrible parking and getting in and out of the parking lot. The layout to get in and out of Sams and Wal-Mart is just plain crazy. Avoid this at all cost, it's just not worth stopping.

What is the best way to describe this location? I believe the word "clusterf*ck" sums it up. But the audacious inconvenience of this place is even more difficult to describe than it is to attempt to navigate through the sea of stupid people and incompetent employees which exist in this ghetto fabulous pile of what-the-f*ck. For example.. The few times I come here, I can't help but notice how inconvenient their parking lot is. It's so bad, I actually park in the Sam's Club parking lot next door JUST to avoid the inevitable traffic jams which occur on a daily basis trying to escape this travesty of convenient shopping; not to mention the barrage of panhandlers. Seriously, can we get some security guards or something?! The staff: incompetent, clueless, careless. And why the hell are there NEVER any separating bars on the lines? This one lady rings my one item (the only one I was purchasing for the day). And despite me trying my best to separate my stuff from the guy after me with an inordinate amount of space, she continues to ring his stuff as if it was all together. I glare at her and go, "That is NOT my stuff!!". Case in point: this place should have separators! End of story!! Bottom line: this Walmart is wrong on SO many levels, I can't even begin to cover them all. Oh, before you ask...no, they do not have the mobile grocery ordering service. Because it wouldn't work here anyway. The parking lot is a complete joke, there are too many panhandlers allowed to roam free in an area which should otherwise prohibit loitering, and the location itself is hideous. Only bonus? You're within walking distance of the illustriously overpriced "Hooters". This place deserves 1 depressingly vexing panhandler desperately seeking employment out of 5. There is a reason this specific Walmart is referred to as "the ghetto Walmart". These were merely a few reasons why.

Walmart El Paso Gateway BLVD The rotisserie chicken I just bought was terribly salty...It tasted like I was eating a cube of salt. It was so soaked in sodium that the chicken breast section was almost a clear whitish color. I usually like to buy the raw chicken, but due to time restraints picking the rotisserie was the only option... Worst idea ever! So gross..couldn't even eat it. What a waste of money :-(
