Putting the retail store located at 8756 research blvd Austin TX ON BLAST for refusing to honor my friend's promo to receive Samsung A16 5G in store for free. He provided his identity & and ph#, and the rep told him that he would have to pay $125. My friend said to her that it's free per email that was SENT BY BOOST. The retail rep stated that she's not BOOST despite the clear signage. Now, the email has a link to select to find nearby location, and it brought up the before mentioned address. My friend called 611 for customer service to explain. The customer service rep then spoke to the retail rep, who then stated that she doesn't speak English and she's busy. Then she follows that up by saying that she doesn't even have the A16 5G Samsung, BUT YET, she initially said it would cost $125. Wow, what kind of business is this? And to think my friend was trying to convince me to get a plan through Boost! Hah, that won't happen with retails such as this. And by the way, he's been with Boost over 20 years.
