Do not recommend this cvs at all!!!My prescriptions are always out of stock when time for refills. RXs are never ready when I get the text stating ready to pick up.Three times they have tried to charge me when it was covered by my insurance.

Even when I used to live here they were bad then and that was 2 years ago. But I didn't think it was possible to be even worse but they have proven me wrong just terrible and a complete disorganized cluster F. How do you not even have amoxicillin? Do yourself a favor go to HEB or Walmart.

Will NEVER go back to this location. Pharmacist is very disrespectful and lied about receiving a prescription and even had the paper copy in his hand. Tried to speak to manager and was told he was on the phone. Gave my number for a call but I’m sure won’t hear from them. The store itself always looks trashy and empty. Other staff is great but that pharmacist has made me take my business anywhere else!!!Just need to shut this location down!

When going to the store two of the employees Trinity and Ellie were the most caring, compassionate and knowledgeable and helped us with finding the products we needed and explained the care pass program. We signed up for that. These two young ladies deserve something special even after hearing how rude other customers were to them, they were professional and able to assist everyone. I will shop here from now. Thank you very much Trinity and Ellie because of you two ladies this CVS store has gained a loyal customer always. Our family thanks you and y’all should be recognized for your hard work, compassionate, professionalism, caring job y’all do. CVS is blessed to have you two working for them. Wish you both the best and will be looking forward to doing business with y’all in the future.

I have switched to CVS in 290 in Elgin since I moved here 2 years ago. At first I read some complaints on Nextdoor and wondered if I should choose another pharmacy. But my insurance only over 90 day order if I use CVS. So I decided to give it a try.Through the 2 years, I have been to CVS many times to pick up my prescriptions. Usually there is no one waiting or a very short line. I’m in and out of the store within a few minutes unless I want to shop for other stuff. I prefer to go to the counter instead of driving-through so I can hear better.The stuff at the pharmacy is always friendly and greet me when they see me approaching the counter. The pharmacist always make sure all my questions are answered before I leave. When I have questions regarding OTC medicines, they are willing to meet me in front of OTC shelves to explain difference of similar brands and help me to compare and choose.They also provide home delivery for free during the pandemic should I choose not to go to the store to pick up.I have my long term prescriptions on auto refill. If there is no more refill authorized, they would contact my doctors to get my prescriptions renewed and refilled. If I have prescriptions not on auto refill, their system would call me a few days in advance asking me if I’d like to refill or skip it. It’s very convenient.BTW, I have never used the restroom there so can’t comment on that.Overall I love my Elgin CVS and would continue to go there for all my prescriptions.

Stopped in to pick up some items going through town and went to use the restroom and it was the nastiest restroom looked like NOONE had cleaned in months totally disgusting so I was going to let the manager know and she was totally rude and told me this is not Buccees and unless someone tells me I don't know. Ok rude lady how about checking in on it maybe at least once a month maybe! Definitely need to find a new manager!!!

Pharmacy staff is great. Really friendly and remembers who you are. Pharmacy is busy but you can see how hard everyone is working. Store employees are super friendly as well.

Pharmacist just take for ever to attend you. I waited more than 15min just for them to look at the window. They don’t take customers seriously or any respect. They didn’t have any patients at front but still would not take the time to talk to you like your time and business don’t matter to them.

Anywhere else you get COVID-19 results in 20 minutes even when they say 24 hours. I've been waiting no results. By the time you find out if you're sick, you have infected so many people. A waste of time. Then they tell you free COVID testing but ask you for your insurance information. If it's free why do you need my insurance information. Too many people touching result. Went to CVS now getting messages from a doctor I never seen.

I'm surprised this pharmacy hasn't received more reviews. I am sitting here in the drive through for the past 20 minutes without moving and just realized you can see the Walmart pharmacy drive through from here. Why in the world have I been putting up with this pharmacy for two years now! They had multiple accounts for me, took multiple requests to different people to get it fixed. Now there are somehow multiple again. Claimed they didn't have my insurance on file, it was because it was under a different account. They tell me they don't have a prescription on file, so I call the doctors office to confirm, then call back and the pharmacy realized they have it under some different account. The drive through takes a ridiculous amount of time. They will be out of stock for common meds and not tell you until you come to pick it up. Everyone that works there is very kind but I think there is a high turnover. I hate to say that they are incompetent because I just think they are too short staffed to be able to handle the basics of a functional pharmacy. Don't waste your time.

Called in a refill for my prescription and filled the refill form out online. Got an email saying if there were any issues I’d be informed. Well, I get there and they don’t have my prescription ready even though I was told by 3pm the day before I would be ready. They then proceed to tell me my prescription insurance is no longer accepted by CVS which they failed to tell me before I wasted time driving there. Never dealing with this company again. Pitiful communication.
