The sweet girl that was working today was seriously the best. She made sure everything was easily found in the store today and that we got everything we needed. She had excellent customer service and did an impeccable job.

In past years; our local store has always been a simple greeting and easy access for our local patrons of this small town. Lately, the staff has been more of a "mood change" environment. They are selective in whom they greet and not always welcoming at the cash register when the public is checking out. I understand that there are more precautions with present circumstances and with the hindrance of face masks for the general public. It does not prevent any small business from just giving a simple greeting of "hello or thank your for coming to Family Dollar" to their customers and not just greet whom they feel like it or make customers feel like they're in the employee's way by trying to access the aisles to shop. The staff has changed often, but you would think being in a small town and with these economic times that there is more productivity when just a simple "Hello or Thank you" goes a long way and keeps the public coming into your "friendly" store then going to the big big chains in Austin instead to avoid such lack of appreciation.

I have never had such rude service by the manager named Una!! She told me that "it's just a given you can't return clearance." Yet corporate told me otherwise. As I was leaving she wanted to bad mouth me and this is a manager!

This place was absolutely filthy and the young man with the chest tattoo at the register working as a cashier was talking on his personal phone the entire time and ignored the lady before me and myself when we asked him questions. Literally the worst customer service ever.

This is absolutely positively the filthiest most disgusting dollar store I have ever been in. That goes for all the dollar store chains. There is dust and trash coming from under pretty much all of the side counters and gondolas. All I needed was dog food so i thought I would go in there instead of Walmart. Now I will just go all the way to the back of Walmart in order to never have to go back into this store. I would give it zero stars if i could.

My Name is Monique and I have had numerous issues with manager at store located at 242 HWY 290 ELGIN TEXAS I don't know her name and name wasn't on receipt. Today I went in to shop and was minding my own business. I was shopping for children at daycare in which I work. Buying eating items, your employee put starter fluid in same bag as food was in. After leaving store I smelled the fluid. I immediately went back to the store to ask for a complete exchange of products She refused. I asked for a manager and she said I am the manager. Spending almost $100.00. I went back to my car and brought everything back in and told her I wanted a complete refund. She refused. I called the police. The police agreed with me but said it was a civil matter. I asked for corporate number. She tells me WE DON'T GIVE OUT CORPORATE NUMBER. If my kids would have ate the products with this chemical on it your company could be liable for a suit. Do something!!! I don't expect to see her in the next two weeks and I Still want to be reimbursed my entire purchase. Review your cameras at midday on Saturday. Monique M.
