Do not have your brakes repaired at this shop! I had my brakes down here a little over a year ago. They did a terrible job resulting in a much higher expense to fix the problem elsewhere.

Don't go there! For years I had bought trailer tires at Jack's and was satisfied with their services. I work locally and have recommended Jack's to numerous customers, as well as friends. Brought my truck in for an alignment and after they brought it back BEFORE they were going to align to see if anything else needed to be done, I was told I needed to have the upper and lower bearings and stabilizer bar replaced for approx $1500 prior to an alignment. The truck has just come back from my mechanic who has worked on the truck for years, had gone over the front end thoroughly and only found it needed a new tie rod. I was bringing it to Jack's for an alignment to make sure after the tie rod replacement it was still aligned as I have new tires. It is a 2005 Dodge Ram 3500 which I have taken very good care of and know the complete service record. This is the second time this has happened to me, I had a similar situation in Bryan years ago when they quoted me $2500 to replace bearings and tie rods prior to alignment. Both times the vehicle had just been serviced and was not needing anything other than an alignment, if that! I will no longer be using Jack's tires, will no longer be recommending them to my customers, and will be warning friends and customers of their deceptive practices. Note to Jack's tires - some women actually know a thing or two about their vehicles!

Had front and rear suspension work done, then they gave me a great deal on a set of tires too. All together it was almost a thousand dollars less than other places I checked with in the area.

As a business owner, I know how hard it is to get even a happy customer to remember to write a review. Most will only organically write a review if they had a bad experience. My experience here as a female was, I was ripped off and it cost me upwards of $2,000 in repairs. I would guess that the good reviews are all from their buddies.

I don't know if it's complete incompetence or they purposely ripped me off but either way it's disgusting how I was done. I spent over $1,400 on new tires and ball joints. They completely misdiagnosed the issue my front end had and it could have cost me my life. They said I needed new ball joints, rack and pinion and control arms. I could only afford the tires and ball joints at the time but a few months later my driver's side wheel nearly came off. I called a mobile mechanic who quickly discovered a shredded bearing. He said there was NOTHING WRONG WITH THE RACK AND PINION OR ANYTHING ELSE but that bearing had been wearing for a long time. This has cost me even more money and left me temporarily stranded in Galveston. Thankfully the mobile mechanic got us back on the road quickly and he didnt over charge us. If you're new to the area you should probably avoid being taken advantage of here.

I was told a tire rotation for my vehicle would cost $20 over the phone but after going in I was charged $40.

Dangerous place! I do not recommend. Long story short: Had new tires and brakes put on a Ram 2018 dually 12/2020. A different mechanic (during oil change the next day) noted loose lug nuts on inner hub of back wheel. We went back to Jack's to have corrected immediately. Three weeks later, front driver wheel came off at the inner hub (not the outer lug nuts). Checked the passenger side and all but one of those was also loose. So, not only did they not install correctly, but they did not correct the mistakes they made when we returned! This could have killed us and/or our horses we were transporting!!Scarier....when mentioning this to a different mechanic, he knew of three similar cases of wheels coming off after going to Jack's.PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE STAY AWAY!!

Wow I was so impressed with this place, came in to get my tire fixed and I was in and out in like 10 minutes and did not even have to get out of my car while they fixed it. I will be back!

I brought my wife’s car in because it was making a noise in the front end. They diagnosed the problem and gave me a call to let me know I need to replace my struts. I picked up the car and it was still making the same noise so I took it back. When I talked to the mechanic he said did it wasn’t driven before they diagnosed it they just assume the problem was the struts. I had to take the mechanic on a test drive to show him the noise and he agreed with the struts werent the issue and he wasn’t sure why they replaced them. I told him that was fine I don’t mind replacing the struts but I still need the noise fixed. They told me they would order sway bar parts and have it fixed the following Monday. Here we are almost 2 weeks later and everyone has amnesia, every time I call they say they will call me back, parts will be here tomorrow etc. today I called and they still don’t remember me or my car and have no record if my parts being ordered but “someone will call me back”.I’m not going to take it back at this point because I can’t trust that they will fix anything properly and the worst part about it is they didn’t even put the pop rivets back in after installing my struts, they just tucked it into the bumper so now I’m looking for a new mechanic while my plastics are flapping in the wind.
