Great service, I called and they checked the inventory for me with no problem and even held the parts for an hour so I could pick them up.

Hit or miss. Mostly miss like today. Ordered Part on line yesterday to be in Elgin this morn. at 10AM. Paid 12 bucks more than other places for the convenience of getting it next morning. No call so drove 9 miles to pick it up just to find it wasn't there. Was given multiple excuses. 1st. Part missed the truck. 2nd something about SanMarcos truck not crossing paths with each other ???. 3rd. Said part was in San Antonio, there was a wreck or something like that and part wasn't going to be there until tomorrow and by then I was already walking out the door. I tried calling before I left the house and let the phone ring for longer than usual because I know it can get busy. Figured I'd take a chance going into town. Truck still broke down and I get to try it again tomorrow. They will be my last resort for parts....once again.

O'Reilly is our "go to" place for vehicle parts and sometimes hydraulic oils for our tractors.

The staff is a bit hit or miss, it's not that they're unkind people, but they really don't seem to want to be working there. They're fine retail help but it's not like they or car parts experts that can guide you through more than their computer knows, and none of them are going to go out of their way to be efficient or useful than a self checkout kiosk. If you need actual auto parts to repair your vehicle, and not random car waxes and other automotive accoutrements, I would always call A-Line Auto Parts first. They are just down the street next to Churches Chicken, and they not only have better pricing on many auto parts, but A-Line just offers higher quality parts with staff knowledgeable enough to not sell you the wrong part. I trust their remanufactured alternators, starters, and other parts way more than the junk at O'Reilly's and AutoZone. Nothing worse than doing a job, only to have to do it again in a few months because you purchased "fake" rebuilt parts. A lifetime warranty at O'Reilly's doesn't mean much because you shouldn't need to replace the part for so long in the first place, that getting a free replacement is little consolation for the cost of your time or the inconvenience of being stranded somewhere.

This location has rather coarse customer service. Timing on parts ordered online was not accurate and delayed a day later that the system originally said they would be ready. When I called to verify parts, I was handled by someone that seemed put-off by my request. You guys need to step this store up a bit. There are far too many choices these days to be like this.
