Overall our stay was pleasant. I asked for a change of rooms after we were assigned one and they accommodated us with a different room. My family very much enjoyed the breakfast that we had in the morning. We smelled an odor occasionally by the pool but you’re out in the country. My only complaint is that my truck was broken into. I parked under a light not far from the entrance to the building. They went through the vehicle looking for something in particular because they took nothing. Not even my NOCO Boost in the glove compartment. They just damaged my driver door handle to gain access and neatly moved things out of the way while looking for whatever.

I lost my earring and when I called and asked they said they didn’t find it but that’s the only place it could’ve been on the bed or the floor , then proceeded to hang up multiple times , the earring is my brothers who passed away , I know it’s there just give it back please.

I have no complaints about the hotel rooms or the road leading to it, unlike some other guests. I’ve stayed here many times due to my work. However, there’s a serious issue that needs management's immediate attention — theft, specifically on the first floor.
On one occasion, after checking out, I realized I had forgotten a 24-pack of beer. I returned to the hotel just 30 minutes later, but the elderly housekeeper who was cleaning the room claimed she had seen nothing. I had no way to prove it, but I had a bad feeling.
During my next stay — around ten days later — I accidentally left my personal blanket in the same area. Once again, it was the same older woman working, and again she denied seeing anything. A blanket is not something that just disappears.
This cannot be a coincidence. I strongly believe this housekeeper is stealing guests’ belongings. What’s worse, she has a very unfriendly, intimidating attitude that makes me — and likely others — uncomfortable.
I urge hotel management to investigate this seriously. Turning a blind eye damages the hotel’s reputation. I’m not the only one — a friend of mine who also stayed on the first floor had a similar experience.
This employee should be held accountable. If proven guilty, she should be immediately removed from her position. Guests deserve to feel safe and respected — not robbed.

First and foremost I have to say that the owners are the extremely kind, helpful, and so professional. We had a miner issue with our restroom and the owner right away gave us an other room no questions asked. I thought that was so wonderful. As the rooms.are concerned, they are extremely clean and so, so comfortable. From cold A/C to hot and high pressure water in the shower. These has been our 4 time staying here and it's always a joy!! I definitely recommend it.

I'm usually not one to write these kind of reviews, I really wanted to write something positive, so I will start out with that. The breakfast staff member was amazing. She went above and beyond and made sure we had everything we needed. Honestly this is the only positive thing I can say about this hotel. Our room was run down. It smelled like mildew. It wasn't the cleanest either. The shower curtain and mat looked like it had seen better days. We only had a set of towels for one person when I booked the room for two. We had to go down and ask for another set and the staff member acted like we were asking them for so much. The laundry room is next door to the front desk but the staff kept going up and down the elevator with different keys and was not apologetic or had any explanation what he was doing. After 20 minutes of this he finally came down the elevator with the towels but no words out of him, just eyerolls. I also didn't appreciate how he threw my towels at me. What also occurred that was strange was we returned to our room at night and our keys were getting rejected. We went back down to the front desk and informed the staff member and he appeared annoyed to help us. He reactivated the keys and they worked but I had such an uneasy feeling. The road to the hotel is also next to a truck stop and there are trucks parked in the lanes all the way to the hotel so that made it feel a bit sketchy. Like I said, I really didnt want to be so negative on this review but something seriously needs to be done at this hotel. If you are considering this hotel, AVOID!!! Yes I read the reviews before and decided to give it a chance because I know some people can overexagerate but I should have gone off these reviews!

Crappy breakfast, cold rubbery eggs, instant coffee,
No decaf coffee, just French roast or Columbian in room

Do not stay at this Best Western if you are traveling for business or need multiple rooms. My company has been staying at this hotel for several years, typically booking 1 to 6 rooms at a time. Over the past 8 months, checking in and obtaining accurate invoices for billing have become increasingly difficult. Most invoices contain errors, and it’s challenging to find someone who can assist or communicate clearly. Staff often blame issues on company policies and claim there’s nothing they can do. Be warned: the manager will not return your calls, despite promises to do so. Going forward, I’d rather pay more and drive farther to avoid the hassle, and I plan to avoid all Best Western hotels whenever possible.

We had a very pleasant stay at the Best Western Plus Elmendorf. The hotel was quiet, the rooms were cozy, and the staff was so kind and helpful throughout. As seniors, we appreciated the easy access and warm hospitality.

The rooms are dirty, there is a paper mill south of there that makes the entire area smell like a pig farm and the cleaning lady stole the Xbox from my friend’s room. The hotel denied everything and we had to call the police. I would sleep in my pickup before ever staying there again.

I stayed here mid-February with my godson & his son. I did not write a review until today because I wanted to give the hotel a chance to account for a situation. It’s clear, from reading other reviews, that isn’t going to happen, and I completed a police report.
Short version: an OK place to stay, but honesty & accountability are sorely lacking.
I left a very important knitting project in the lobby at check-out, because we had to get to a tour on time. I realized this a couple hours later, and called the hotel.
I was told they had found the project, it would be kept safe, and if I sent a pre-paid box to the hotel, it would be mailed to me.
I had the shipping box tracked, so I knew when it arrived. I had enclosed a note with the prepaid box, asking to be notified when it was mailed. I heard nothing. Then I started to call, and the situation became positively bizarre: I never got the same story twice: the manager had just left, the manager had been in an accident & they didn’t know when he’d been back, my project was still there, my project had disappeared, my project had been stolen, police had been called on Candice…. When I finally talked to someone claiming to be the “manager” I got quite a runaround: he had seen nothing, no box ever arrived (OK, maybe the postal service was lying?), he would have to talk to his cleaning staff & get back to me.
Since then, nothing, my calls get disconnected.
Stay here only if everything is going to go well. Trust nothing you are told. Get names of everyone you deal with.

Bad location. Poor condition. So Dirty. Old equipments in use. Not 4star hotel as booked at booking. Unsafe smoke detectors. Unworking remote controllers and lights. AC was not working well.
