Braunig Lake Park is a nice and peaceful place to spend the day or for overnight camping, offering beautiful sunsets and sunrises. It is a wonderful find where visitors can enjoy a day on the lake from a boat or the bank. The park features a nice playground for children and a store with cold beer and other items. Many find the staff commendable for their attention to keeping the park clean and their quick response to problems. However, some visitors note issues with people leaving trash, beer cans, and fishing rods, and playing loud music. The restrooms could be kept up better, though they are often clean, and the playground grass can be overgrown. Some feel the camping is overpriced. Despite this, it remains a cool place out of the sun, and many plan on coming back.

Great place to go kayak fishing or just of shore . Staff has a great attitude everytime I come in especially Sheila . Grounds are kept clean and they just put in a new play ground for the kiddos . Over all a positive experience. Also they take care of you if your a Disabled Vet as well .

I enjoy kayaking Braunig. The main issue is the kayak launch is very small, muddy and overgrown. Most of the time bank fisherman are fishing in the launch because you can't tell it's a kayak launch. Also the roads are pretty bad, lol.
