Shawn was Super Ugly Rude.
Throwing my things I bought in the bag ugly. But whit customers in the line got treated like saints. Shawn needs a New Job ..... smh

Manager was disrespectful/rude. Shouldn't be in a customer service position if you can't handle issues. Seems to be a pretty common occurrence with all the other reviews before me.

If I could I could give them a 0. Cashier was rude. They had a 3 dat special on lawn decorations which included bird feeders. She was determined that they were not. We even showed her the weekly ad. She didn't even know what a bird feeder was. Manager needs to hire people ate friendly and wants to work not someone with that kind of attitude. She was complaining that people go in the store and throw thi gs around and hates to pick up their mess.Then went to another Dollar General store down the street and bought a couple of bird feeders with problem on getting them buy one get one free. Worst store as well as the cashier.

It's 930 am and they aren't even open. The manager got there at 10 and told me to leave by the employee. I won't return to this location and would avoid it.

I rarely come, but whenever I need something urgently I do come here because it is the store that is closer to my house. Today, a few minutes ago, I came to buy some pills I needed because I did not want to go to walmart or HEB just to get that, well a man approached us (I am only assuming that was the manager) with a dollar general shirt and told my sister (also a frequent client), my cousin (who had never come before because she is visiting from out of town), my daughter and I. He was so certain of what he was saying and accused us of leaving the store a complete mess every time we come. We asked him to show us the camera proof he had to back this up and he said he couldn’t. He made us feel uncomfortable and I believe he was being racist because we look hispanic. We have never left a mess anywhere, we are respectful people and for him to assure this was just not okay. We will also be calling and speaking to more people because no one deserves to be accused the way we were. We had never had a bad experience here, today just horrible. RUDE. I will be calling to find out the name of the man that did that, because you cannot accuse someone of something they did not do. I believe that was a racist act.

The only reason I am giving this store a 1 star is because you can't rate a zero. The store was closed today because the company system was down today. Which ok fine. While I was sitting in front, parked the store about to call my husband either the manager or assistant manager, walked up to my car and asked "why are you taking pictures?"Which I replied that I was about to call my husband, she then said "well yeah the store is closed for today and tomorrow" and I said "yea I know" which she responded, "No you don't know." In which I responded, "well I can clearly read the sign." She then repeated, "well the store is closed" before walking away. Thank you Dollar General. I will never set foot in your store again. I hope there is a management overhaul.
