Just moved into the address and can't seem to get my packages. They keep saying delivery failed no secure location but they don't even attempt to drop it at my address. It's like the carrier won't even bring it with them it's at the post office and they want you to pick it up but what's the point of mail delivery if you have to go somewhere to get what you ordered? Just a bunch of lazy carriers it seems like. And when you call the post office about it they are rude and don't give you any other options other than picking it up or they can try for redelivery but then they never try for redelivery.

I'm pretty sure the USPS does not like delivering for Amazon. More than once I was notified that my address doesn't exist. But Amazon has been putting their own lockers around, but not around me.

I turned in that I get other people's mail so I know they are getting mine. Been waiting for important letter from my bill collector. Twice they mailed this Jan 5 and then two weeks later. No letter still.
Gave them post office twice to get this right oh well.

Normally I do not have issues at this location but today was the most sickening experience I’ve ever had! Once a month I go to the Elmendorf Post office to send paperwork Certificate of Mailing. Today I get there and the normal lady isn’t working (bummer) so there is a gentleman I’ve never seen behind the counter. He’s helping one customer
Ahead of me and I noticed how the employee was being a little hostile and rude with the customer. I didn’t think anything of it because maybe the customer did something before we got there. So my turn was next, I approached the counter and didn’t even get a “How can I help you” The rude guy just stood there and looked at me like “what do you want.” I tell him I have 2 and give him the Firm Mailing paper. He starts entering the info in the computer and using the touch screen so hard I thought he was going to break it. I stood in silence and he then says my total. So I hand him the money and he then asks me “Where do I put these stickers” I said well the other lady just puts them on the paper, fills out her portion and stamps it. (So he obviously had no idea what he was doing) Well he stuck the tracking stickers on my paper and barked “there you go” and proceeded to walk away. I said well you have to do the paper and stamp it. He gets very defensive and states he does not do any paperwork for anything. So I asked if he can at least stamp it for me because I need that done for sure. He picks up the stamp, slams it down on my paper and pushes me the paper and tried to walk away again! I said, can I please have my receipt! He turns around, hits a few buttons and the receipt prints. He then ripped it off the machine and nearly made the entire machine fall off. Threw me the receipt on the counter and walked away! I was so speechless. My friend and I turned around to walk out and she yelled “hope you have a better day” and he mocks back “Yea You too”! I have NEVER in my life witnessed customer service like this. I plan on taking this all the way up to cooperate because he was so out of line! And of course he didn’t wear a name tag but it won’t be hard to figure out who he is since he was the only one there on 9/13!! If I ever see him working again I will turn and run out!

The passport processing was seamless. The employee was professional and quick to help us through the paperwork to include photos.

I've realized after living in the area for over a year now that I find myself always cringing when I know a package is being sent to me via USPS.. and it's because there's always a high possibility that I'm never going to see it and its going to be something I never receive and time-sucking hassle that Im going to have to deal with the retailers at no fault of their own.And its not just me, my whole neighborhood has the same problems with Elmendorf PO.Package tracking states "delivered" when it hasnt and it doesnt ever show up. Is it coincidence that the packages with store brand labeling are usually the ones that dont show up? Like walmart, luxury retailers, etc.I hope the city of E works with USPS to figure out the problem soon because your residents can't rely on the postal service now, and the city is growing.

on 12/19/23 i had a package that was suppose to be delivered by USPS from Amazon. they claimed it was left in parcel locker. when i opened it it was empty. no package when i contacted the office they couldn’t give me a straight answer on what happened12/23/23 today my wife had some issue package from Amazon delivered by USPS left in locker my father in law opened the locker and nothing no package !!!!!!!

If I could do NEGATIVE stars I would! We pay for a po box and 8/10 times our packages are never available. We work weird hours which is WHY we have a po box....we want to make sure someone secures them and puts them in a locker so we can retrieve them. Why pay for expedited shipping if it sits in the back for over a week. We call during business hours and no one answers. BEYOND FRUSTRATED ?

This is the worst post office. The delivery driver leaves the paper stating that she made an attempt to give me a certified letter that needs signature. But i have cameras and she made no attempt. She left it on my porch never rang the doorbell or knocked. I have lived here 10 years and i have had pkgs stolen and its always been bad service even at Elmendorf post office. And their hours are ridiculous.
