“This happened in 2022: wow, I came in the door and I'm the only other person in the lobby besides a lady leaving her keys at the front desk and even when she leaves, my existence isn't acknowledged. One of the mechanics sees me standing at the desk twice and twice he turns back to his computer. Another mechanic comes in while I'm standing there and likewise ignores me. Only the owner greeted me.
This stings even more when I'm here to pay a $1000+ bill.
Every time I have taken my car here they do a good job but this last time when they replaced the fan, I expected things to go back to normal as they were and instead the fan makes a lot of vibrating noise for example if I leave it in park or I am stopped at a light for a bit too long. I took it back and asked the technician to check it or maybe the fan is unbalanced or something as they told me in Fiesta Chevrolet... But when I needed the damn thing to make noise so the technician could see and hear it it didn't and he said that it is fine... I disagree. I may not know anything about mechanics but I do know that when something is fixed it should be left as it originally was. As if nothing were wrong.
I know prices have increased everywhere but jfc a diagnostic is ridiculous.”

He tried to sell it back to me by saying he gets them cheap and minewith another sensor. wass going out. When I replaced it the mechanic told me it was not the original item and had been replaced with another old sensor.”

“did you ever have one of those days when you'd been out to the Island and then heading home the reliable El Camino fuel pump in the tank lets go? coasting to the side of the road at dusk is not a good feeling. so the next day after getting towed to Pep Boys the night before, you get to the manger and he advises "we can fix you up". Good feeling but not great yet 'cause the Camino is still on the lift when you show up. then you see her coming down and starts right up... Great Feeling! Pep Boys may have lost a half a tank of gas in the process but the baby is running and I'm checking out and heading home. Great 5 Star repair. Thanks PB's AxE”
