The place had just what I was looking for..an Xbox series x and it was cheaper than Walmart...but their games are higher than Walmart so I'll be getting my games there I guess...the clerk was helpful..knew his stuff and made sure the extra controller I bought was in working order which was great because the first one i chose had something wrong with one of the sticks... Great experience overall

I will be going into the store for now on not only was buying a PS4 used disc way cheaper than buying online. I bought a Turtle Beach wireless headset for less than $100 with a warranty! The associate who helped me was so friendly.

Edit: went in again today at @6:00pm on a Saturday and received the same poor service. Walked in and there was a few customers that shortly left. After they left the two employees (different employees than my last visit) started a conversation about something regarding the Spanish language (had my AirPods in so I didn’t hear all of it). I waited 10 minutes but I couldn’t get service. Maybe it’s the time and day of the week or maybe it’s just the way I look but I’ve never received poor service like this. That and their pricing signage (I think that’s what it’s called) is always out of date showing the wrong price.Went in today around 6:00pm and there were two employees working. One (a lady) was busy helping customers with what it seemed was a complex console/tablet trade in process. The other (a male) who seemed like the manager could not be bothered to help the other customers (including myself). The only action he did take was to get up and close/lock the back room door while I was near it browsing (the Nintendo switch section) as apparently people who look like me steal. Most places teach employees that the best way to prevent theft is strong customer service (constantly engaging customers for assistance). Don’t get me wrong the lady behind the counter seemed very pleasant and helpful but was just busy. You would think that’s when the manager would step in and lead by example to provide a positive customer experience.Anyway, I’ll just order what I need through Amazon or the psn/Xbox/switch online store as I was just trying to support my local Gamestop.

So glad we’ve got a GREAT GameStop in town. Staff is always super helpful and the store is always clean and well stocked. Would also note that I like the updated rewards system and monthly coupons corporate has moved to. Really helps a physical collector since digital copies get all the big sales!
