This is a really interesting undertaking in the literal middle of nowhere. Friendly employees and customers. Inexpensive. Clearly a place for the locals to meet and hang out. It was a VERY hot day and the beer could be a bit colder. NOTE: VAST improvement from the prior owner.

Took my family there to eat lunch. Everyone had very tasty food. Jerry was fun and went out of his way to please my in-laws. Relaxed and homey atmosphere. We all enjoyed our visit.

Great micro brewery, with several options of their beers (some breweries sell other beers than their own). Staff is laid back and will visit about brewing and their approach, pretty much what ever you want to talk about. Brewery is in a old school building you can tour and along with it the brewing area itself. Nice outdoor seating area where you can look over the vast area farmland in peace and tranquillity. Whiskey (the brew dog) will be happy to help you find that perfect spot but he’ll be expecting some treats for his efforts. I’ll be recommending this place and will be back. Thanks guys for a great visit!

We really enjoyed this brewery out in the Farmland. Seems like the building has a lot of history. The beer they had was tasty and they had other beverages for not beer drinkers. The food was pretty good as well. Worth a visit!

Amazing beer!! The most drinkable craft beer you’ll find. Great new food menu for a very reasonable price. The atmosphere is one of a kind. Where else can you play basketball in a 1938 gymnasium while drinking beer that was brewed in the auditorium?! There’s so much to do and explore.

What a fun place! I was there with my brothers and their kids last week.We really enjoyed the brews, but my older brother mentioned that his didn't have the correct amount of foam at time of pour. He saw it as slightly flat. My younger brother and I had no complaints, neither did my sister-in-law.The eats were fantastic! It was a hot July day, so the challenge of cooling a place with immense square footage -- I get that. A better ventilation system might help to keep customers comfortable during the blazing West Texas summers.I'd definitely return!

Cute place for a drink and some good fish and chips. The staff let you try their 4 craft beers, I really liked their take on the IPA. There was a space for some outdoor games which me and my coworkers had a great time playing cornhole and can jam!

This is a do not miss stop! We were on the way to Austin from Carlsbad Caverns on a road trip and read about this place. It was an awesome experience. Very rustic, diamond in the rough but so nostalgic. It reminded me of my old elementary school in Alabama. Nice, clean bathrooms. They even have the gym available for use and its kids friendly! There's inside and outside seating. It's like in the middle of some farmland and can be hard to see from the street but look closely and use the coordinates from the website. So its an old 1920's/1930's school turned into a very real brewery and restaurant. Our host knew all the history and toured us through the place even showing us how he makes the beers. The food was pretty good! The best thing we ordered was the beer battered fried fish and that was some of the best battered fish I've ever tasted... honestly. These people are so down to earth that the cook came out and spoke with us.So the place needs a lot of work but the restaurant side is put together and the seating is very nice. Its a local spot and I hope can stay open for the travelers and residents down through there. They have a lot of great ideas for the place and it would be awesome for the community and be a hang out for everyone. Please support them if you can. They're really nice, down to earth people.

*****NOTE: This place is NOT a school but because it's an old schoolhouse, google keeps telling everyone it's "temporarily closed". It is NOT. When we pulled in it looked abandoned. Closed. It wasn't. (Just looks that way! Take a chance and go inside. You won't regret it!!!). The people here were amazing. The food? Unreal. I can't say enough about the burgers. ABSOLUTELY worth the drive from Florida just for the burgers! They're THAT good. The loaded fries were amazing but they're a bit spicy. DO NOT MISS THIS PLACE!!!! If you're headed to the Air Force base, this has to be a MUST STOP place on your journey. The craft beers were so good. SO good. Overall highly recommend. It's in an old school house, and they retained the look of the old building. Chalkboards/ etc for the kids to draw on.... The aesthetics of an old school house is VERY original and frankly charming. The entire experience was amazing. The prices were AMAZING. VERY reasonable.

Hidden gem of a brewery. 25 min drive from San Angelo. Definitely worth a visit if you’re into brews and good food. Simple menu but always have a weekly special.
