This is probably one of the worst experiences I have had, and I have been having (my car is still there) in the past 20 years. Or maybe ever. My car was at this location at the end of December to take care of the transmission under extended warranty. After 2 weeks and $ 300+ of car rental expenses I finally had the car. On 02/16 the engine light came back on. At first, the problem seemed related to the transmission and therefore under Aamco limited warranty, but eventually this engine control module issue came up, and, apparently out of spite, a new claim was started. This after 7 days, $ 330+ of rental, and still counting. Every time I called to ask about the timing and conditions and if it was ready I have been told "it needs to be re-programmed". I was told on Thursday the 22nd of February to go back on Friday to pick up the car at 2:00 PM. When I got to the shop, after a 50-minute walk, I was told the car needed to be re-programed. ???? I waited about 3 hours until the Lock&Smith guy, who was supposed to re-program the anti-theft system, informed us through phone call he would have been at the shop in the morning, therefore compromising my working day. Never received a call throughout Saturday. The level of carelessness and disrespect have been incredible. After 10 days, 2 walks of 50 minutes and increasing rental expenses, the nightmare continues. To add insult to injury the car has new scratches in the bumper, but nobody at the shop knows anything.

This place has unethical business practices. My vehicle is a 2003 and needed a new transmission- it wouldn’t shift to lower gears.I asked for an estimate to fix it but they refused to give me one. They charged me $1495 to take my transmission out and look at it saying it was only the overdrive portion that had anything wrong with it (I had driven it in there) they’d only need to replace the worn or damaged parts and they’d subtract that from the $1495.We kept asking for worst case scenario- how much if the whole thing needed to be replaced- they wouldn’t tell us. Turns out the reason is they could then say the whole thing needs to be replaced and could then tell me it will be $3900! I’m one to leave good reviews if they’re warranted but this isn’t one of those!Had I known upfront that most transmissions need to be completely replaced I wouldn’t have had them look at it for $1495. But he kept saying I wouldn’t end up paying $1495. Well I did.I’m hoping to warn you against this happening to you, especially after reading the rest of the reviews. If I could give no stars, I would!

This place is trash. Jason is a thief and an idiot who had no idea how to fix my transmission and had it for months. Then he tried to get out of fixing it once I had been back about 4 different times and I had to go through corporate for them to honor their work. Avoid at all costs. This place should not be in business.

Based on my experience, I took my F-350 truck 2 weeks ago with a transmission problem. The technician said the transmission was good, that the problem was the turbines and the injection bombs. The total cost to fix it according to them was $11,480.00. For 5 days straight they kept telling me “the truck will be done tomorrow” but it never was actually ready the next day. They demanded the for everything to be paid before the truck was fixed, leaving me at disadvantage. Once the truck was fixed according to them they gave it to me still with the transmission which means they didn’t know what was actually wrong because they changed everything they said about the turbo system and now my truck is even worse because they gave it to me with injectors problems and the mechanic said that when you fix something another thing breaks. The mechanic just “advised” me to take my truck home and not use it because it doesn’t work. Now I have a truck with the transmission problem that it had since the beginning, injector problems, and $12,000.00 wasted. Not to mention the costumer service wasn’t good, I almost had to beg for receipts of the service I paid for. It took me 3 days of constant asking for them to finally give me the receipts. I don’t know how good the other locations are, but I wouldn’t recommend the Euless location to anyone. Know I understand why the secretary said that all the cars they had there had been abandoned by the clients, that the “only paying costumer there” was me. I got there with a transmission problem on my truck and I got out of there with said transmission problem plus additional engine problems and some “advice” not to use my truck because it’s no good.

I have read all the different reviews on here about this AAMCO- and I just wanted to come on here and tell you our experience. I am the General Manager for the LaQuinta in Bedford and we have two shuttles that run all the time. In 2020 we got a brand new Ford Transit Van and in the short two and a half years our hotel out almost 300,000 miles on the van and the transmission went out. We took it to AAMCO for the repairs. I knew it was bad because the transmission was slipping for a while but they got it in and went to work on it. It was expensive but they said it was as good as new. We drove it off and a couple of weeks later it was still acting funny and AAMCO took it back and guaranteed all of their work. The van is like new again. You won’t be disappointed with their work, and transmissions aren’t cheap but you get what you pay for!

Terrible dishonest shop, stay far far away from this location, this shop will not honor their work, they replaced the engine on my pick up truck after they completed the job a month after i started having problems again, had the vehicle inspected just to find out they replaced it with a high milage engine and not a new re manufactured engine as they first stated. They will make you sign an arbitration agreement, to make sure you cant take them to court for their dishonest work never again.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

They scammed my warranty company out of $4000, and kept my car for 3 weeks without fixing the issue. Then, I got my car back in worse condition than when I brought it in. They also won't respond to my complaints through the BBB. I spoke with Euless PD about them, and the officers told me that Customers call the cops on them constantly for shady practices!! Avoid them at all costs!

AAMCO in Euless worked on my 2002 Ford Explorer XLS and did an awesome job on my transmission! They were able to get to the root of the problem with my vehicle and now it rides smoothly. The work also came with a pretty lengthy warranty so my investment feels protected. Thank you so much Mr. Dave and Ms. Beverly who works behind the scenes and a big thanks to all the other amazing mechanics that worked on my vehicle!!

On Friday, March 17, I took my car to AAMCO to be checked. When I arrived on Friday, the receptionist, Beverly told me that they couldn't check it that day, and to come back on Monday. I filled out a form, supplied them with my extended warranty info, and let them know I'd be back on Monday. After dropping my car off on Monday, I was told I'd get a call with their findings. At 12:40 p.m., they called to let me know that there was a bigger issue and that they needed more time to diagnose the problem. This would be $150 per hour for 3 hours, and as Beverly advised, this "wouldn't be covered by the warranty". March 21 - They called and told me that they were waiting for the warranty adjuster to come look at my car. The issue was the engine wire harness. The warranty folks confirmed this, and they said it could take up to two days. I got another call about the part needed for this repair, and was told that it was on backorder. I didn't hear a single thing from the shop until I called them again on Monday, March 27. At this point, they had my car for a full week. I called them to find out that the part was supposed to arrive sometime that day, and they were waiting for it. March 29 - I called in again at 12:36 p.m., only to find out that the part had just arrived to the shop and hey should have my car fixed "soon". April 3 - I call again at 12:32 p.m. I am told that "we don't know how long it will take because he has to remember how to put everything back together". Beverly also tells me that she'll give me a call back after she talks to the person working on my car. I never hear back from them for the rest of the day. April 4 - I call again at 2:02 and 2:06 p.m. and leave a voicemail. I text Andre their number and he calls at 2:09. Magically, they answer the phone. I'm convinced they're now screening my calls. April 5 - AAMCO Corp calls me and asks about the e-mail I sent. I explain, as I am on this post, all the things that have happened thus far. She calls them directly and then calls me back. "They said they'll be done Friday afternoon by 3 pm. If they don't call you by then, you can call me." Today - I called (after Corporate made contact) and they said my car is finished, but they have to test to make sure it is work. I get a call at 4:15 and Beverly says, "Well since it's the holiday, you can come get your car, but now you need more repairs. I can submit a claim and you can bring the car back." I go up there to get my vehicle, and after all of this: THE CAR IS STILL DOING THE EXACT SAME THING I TOOK IT IN FOR. IT STILL IS BLOWING ROOM TEMPERATURE AIR. To add, I now have a bunch of mysterious scratches and dings on my car. I've already reported them to my warranty company, and I am sending this entire post, along with pictures and copies of my receipts to both their corporate office and the Office of the Attorney General. The lack of professionalism, failure to provide timely updates, and complete absence of integrity show me that not only do they not care about their Customers, they totally want to make more money off of me by not addressing the actual problem.

Our transmission went out and they ran our credit before they would tell us what they would charge. The credit came up 3000 and we paid them $200 more than the 3000. We've been paying on this 3 years and finally got it paid. BUT we took it back twice and told them the transmission was slipping and they would not honor the warranty!! Our vehicle is still not fixed!! Don't trust Dan or David. They don't fix you're vehicle but they sure take your money. Not a happy customer!!!

Got back from vacation after Thanksgiving only to find a puddle of transmission fluid under my truck. Called around town and no one could get me in until about January at the time. Called these guys up and they got in me the next week and had me done by Thursday. Price was about the same I would've paid at the dealer, but I was able to get in and out in 1 week, which was helpful because I had a trip to Colorado coming up. The guys let me know what was wrong, what the fix was and kept me posted throughout the week. Very thankful for the quick turnaround.Service: Transmission
