Think twice before opening an account here. When you call for a question or issue, average wait time to speak to someone is generally 20-30 minutes.
But, if you select new account they answer the phone right away. Once they figure out youre a customer, they put you back on hold. Im about to shift my money back to Chase bank.

I’ve been waiting for 45 min to see a banker. There are two bankers assisting a party for over 45 min. Having an extra banker or TWO during lunch hour will be helpful to us working folks!!!! I’m late going back to work and I asked if anyone could help me, like a manager, and I was told no. Very disappointed. Need to bank at a place that can assist without waiting for almost an hour!!!
Have to edit and clarify that this is occurring at the Irving Branch. All others branches seem to have it together and fast to help. I’ve been banking with CUTX for over 25 YEARS!!! IRVING please make some changes. Thank you

Amanda had helped me with an issue I was having purchasing a vehicle and the entire process she had been so understanding and helpful the entire way! I was very disappointed because of paperwork that needed to be redone twice due to vehicle loan issues and the entire time she was looking into my situation and helped make my experience less stressful. She’s a great employee and deserves to be recognized and appreciated for all her hard work!

This entire credit union sucks. It's not just one location. It's the entire establishment as a whole. They will change the terms without notifying you. At some point for whatever reason my checking account became more of a credit account and they started overcharging and overdrafting every single transaction. Even if there was no money in my account they still allowed all the transactions to go through even the ones that were not Auto drafted. They accept checks and then reverse them without notifying you and then tell you there's nothing they can do about it. Save yourself the time and your money and open an account literally anywhere else. This isn't a bank nor is it a credit union. It's a racket of theft.

Worst experience ever. Charged my account off after only 2 months of non usage. Then when I try to reopen. Claims managers approval is needed. Here we are a week later and I still need approval because no one has even ran my case by any manager. I was with them for yearssss just to be treated like a criminal and discriminated against. Young lady looked me flat out and lied and said if I paid the charge off I’d be able to open an account. Here I am at another branch finding out nothing was done at all in efforts towards seeing what’s going on. I am livid!!!!
