So you can snack just before you get your meat and shop for groceries.Best place to find freshly made chicharrones, fresh latin foods like different mole brands, produce, canned goods and other dry goods to complete a bona fide latin meal.Today I stocked up on tequeños, mole from rancho la California and avocados.I will say the marinated meat prices have risen quite a bit. As of Feb 2024, the fajita is 10.99/lb and the tablitas are 12.99/lb.”

“I had never been here before. I received a gift card from work and gave it a shot. I was surprised to find the menu was much more than just ham. We tried a couple of pounds of their smoked turkey and their Tuscan Broccoli. Both were very good. They even make fresh sandwiches if you wanted to stop in for a quick bite. I would be interested to see how the rest of their food is.”

“Went to this place while visiting my daughter in Hurst, Texas. The man making our order was very friendly, talkative, and kind. The rest not so much. The barbacoa was great and the burritos weren't all tortilla. (My pet peave is having a burrito that's mostly tortilla.) They were out of carnitas that was a bummer but I had their chicharrones and they were great. I really wanted pan dulce but as soon as I opened the door it smelled stale. So disappointing. I really enjoyed what I did get and will be back. Maybe the pan dulce will be fresh and the employees will be kinder. Nonetheless every business deserves a 2nd and sometimes a 3rd chance. It is a new business and I will support them.”

“The former owners kept Elrods clean and now newly named Foodland Markets does too! Maybe even better. I was surprised the new management takes great care of it too. . They seem to have as much as Kroger, maybe more inventory. All food is more expensive nowadays but buying the Foodland labeled products, you can pay less buying Foodland labeled products. are less than name brands. We live within walking distance and my husband walks there and back after purchasing products within 20 minutes.”

“Lots of great food places here. There’s Boba shops, Vietnamese food shops that have pho, bun bo hue, etc (all of the good stuff), and they even have a grocery stores and gift shops. They have everything you needed there. It does lack the positive feeling in there since it doesn’t look too great inside and the bathroom is run down, but overall, it’s a good place to stop by for food or if you need to grab some snack from the grocery store.”

Anyways i love this location its better then the ones here in Arlington (off 360/park row & the one off cooper/arkansas) The employees have always been nice here. The store doesn't have a lot of items to choose from because of their over priced items but what do you expect it isn't Walmart people! Other then that i only go to this store to buy meat products. I do agree prices are some what high on produce or just general household items but sometimes they do have great sales.”

“My son eat here all the time I take him he is a huge fan of African food any kind of African food LOL he likes it all but this by far is his favorite place to go and this is where I take him to get his fix he have tried other places but this is his go to and he feels as if this is the best I don't partake in the meals however the atmosphere is amazing as soon as you walk in the music is playing and you can just feel it in your spirit it seems the more that I go the more they get a little more comfortable with me but I think it's just the culture is different so we don't really Vibe on that part but I love the music and it smells good though”

PLENTY of vegetarian options where you wouldn't even miss the meat if you just had these. Lots of flavor, spices were a bit mild for me, but I like things spicier that others Atmosphere is a bit lack-luster, but you don't go for that, you go for the food and that is done in spades. Do not pass go. Do not collect $200. Go directly to Texas King.”
