Rooms appear clean but have organic growth hiding everywhere

It’s a motel 6. You get a basic room at a low price and the location is convenient and centrally located. I would not have made a review if we did not encounter an issue that VJ was able to resolve for us. We had gotten the room as we were going to be partying on Saturday. We checked in that evening and pregamed in the room before ubering to the party. During our pregame we got a knock at the door from a confused group of people who said that the room was theirs. I explained that the room was occupied and they went back to the front desk to get a new room. In the early hours of the morning when we returned to the room after our party we found our key no longer worked. VJ explained that our room was never marked as given to us and instead a different room was originally ours. When the group of people came to the front that evening he had deactivated our room key as our names were still on the original room. He was able to sort the issue out and we were able to return to our room. Having spent considerable time figuring this out with VJ we were certainly sober enough to drive and ultimately did not sleep in the room but only since at this point we had no need for a drunken crash-pad and just went home about 20 min away.
VJ, although we did not sleep at your establishment, your commitment to finding our solution in a place where you easily could have stone walled us was very appreciated and the review for your service is 5 stars! The motel is 4 stars rather than 3 because somehow this is the only motel 6 that the pool actually looked good and had people. I would not hesitate to book here again and I hope each employee I work with is just as great as VJ.

you get what you pay for in a solid way, decent rooms that have a great ac. friendly staff that were always willing to help and in a convenient location in my opinion..if you just want a place to stay without breaking the bank this is a good bet.

Would stay here if the streets were a definite no.
Very sketchy. I can only comment on what I have seen driving by daily- I have not stayed here.

I don’t do review often, however The Front Desk lady Dimitria Went above and beyond her job description, which is rare these days .it’s unfortunate hotels.com does not make it easy on the hotel property employees nor do they make it easy for the guest, however, Miss Dimitria took care of all of it and made my stay stress free an as someone who values there peace it seemed fit to recognize her act of kindness ! Good help is hard to find motel 6 got lucky with this one

I am extremely disheartened by the actions of one of the maintenance workers. He went up to my room door 6/11/25 around 4-5pm, bent down, and took our Autism (ADA) floor mat. Then he proceeded to place it at the corner of the hallway folded neatly with writing on the inside of that. Then another coworkers at front desk said at first it was the rainy weather. Then, after reviewing the security tape, then the front desk worker claimed he didn’t know who that was and claimed it was one of the guests in the room. How could the guest of the room wear a motel 6 shirt with the word “staff” in the back of it? After we demanded to get the rug back, another maintenance workers claimed he didn’t know what it was and he threw it in the dumpster with few trash bags over it. My husband spent 30 mins looking inside of the dumpster and it was nowhere to be found. They claimed that rug was thrown away after the trash man got there. Either one of the workers took it or they are not telling the truth. Then, they asked us to leave the room before we found out the truth. We asked them the reason why. They vaguely told us their system was down and wouldn’t let us check in past the two week mark. I know that’s not accurate. We stayed there 4 years ago and we stayed there for a month before. In addition, another guest was there before we were and they are still able to check in for additional night. In my heart, I truly believe my 7-year-old autistic son was being discriminated against by the whole hotel staff. Clearly, they do not understand the importance of supporting special needs kids to stay there. We found that out this morning.
This is what our mat looked like that he stole it! We are extremely disappointed of what took place.

My wife's is in a wheelchair and our is perfect. Also Marcos at the front desk really helpful and respectful.
