“Since moving back to the USA over 12 years ago, Chris Keel is my first choice for buying wine. He knows his stuff regarding wine. He only sells wines that he tastes first and approves of. He can guide you in selecting a wine that's right for you and/or right for the occasion. As mentioned, if he doesn't have the specific wine that you want on the shelf, he will find it for you if at all available in Texas. Highly, highly recommended.”

“I've shopped at King's on Camp Bowie a long time. I've always had a good experience with friendly staff and good prices. The other day I got a bit choked up as I was checking out and I couldn't quit coughing. One of the girls went to get me a bottle of water which helped tremendously. The guy carried my stuff out to my truck for me but they have always done that if I wanted them to. Always my go to liquor store.”

“This is by far the VERY BEST HAMBURGERS AND FRENCH FRIES I HAVE EVER EATEN. I would go so far as to say they even BEAT KINCAID'S ( This is NOT a slight to KINCAID'S they still make a totally awesome burger that I highly recommend) over off of Camp Bowie and that's saying a whole lot. The guy who runs the place is the only fly in the ointment. He is rude and short with just about everyone who I've seen come in to the store. A little customer service goes along way on my book.
