Shop is a scam. They will overcharge you, lie about rates, and won't tell you about additional charges until you get the bill.

Fellow truck drivers and owners. DO NOT EVER use these guys. They ripped off a friend in a time of need and are very dishonest people. They told him 135 per hour for labor and then suddenly changed to $160 per hour once completed and their reasoning was "electrical issues cost more". $650 bill for bypassing the starter and getting the truck started lol. No parts changed, nothing done. Dishonest people. If this reviews helps you decide, I would NEVER go here, even in an emergency.

Fellow truck drivers and owners. DO NOT EVER use these guys. Owners should be ashamed of themselves. Called for road service and explained that there was an issue with the starter and was likely electrical. They told me $135 per hour for labor and then suddenly changed to $160 per hour once completed and their reasoning was "electrical issues cost more". Was told 45 minute wait when in it turned out to be a 180 minute wait. The mechanics were there working on the truck for not even an hour. No port to port time was mentioned when asked (fine, located in the same town as my truck so not far at all). Received a $650 bill for bypassing the starter and getting the truck started lol. No parts changed, nothing done. Dishonest people. Such poor business practices.

They don't even deserve the one star, they're scam artists that couldn't even prime a truck's fuel filter. First of all I advised their dispatcher that my driver was in Las Cruces at a pilot. Tech doesn't call after over an hour so we call them, turns out he went to the wrong pilot over 30 miles away. Then, a wrongful diagnosis had me replace all the filters, and still couldn't get truck running. They took over 7 hours and charged me 845 dollars to then advise me that it's an electrical problem and to get towed to a dealer. With my obvious doubt in their intellect at this point, i called TA and they showed up and got the truck running in 10 min. Only needed priming... can you believe that. 97 dollars it cost for TA. There is probably better mechanics working at a Mcdonalds than UBR. Avoid them.

Always the lowest price for gas and has clean restrooms. What else can you want from a highway gas station.

Gas, food and more. Not the best, but not the worst either. Gas was relatively cheap, as was the food. We paid inside for gas. Could not read display on one pump. The other pump would not take my FRN ALT ID. After filling up, we used the clean, stocked restrooms, and then ordered dinner. Not too many options to eat if you can't have or don't like fried food. We sat in their dining area, which was clean & had an artificial rose, and salt & pepper shaker, at each table. Husband had Chester's Fried Chicken and fried corn. Chicken was a little dry; corn was "interesting." But he said both were "pretty good." I had the Deli Express cheese and bologna sandwich which reminded me of school lunches. Chester's Mac'n'Cheese was hot and cheesy. Both were good.

Husband's radiator busted while driving back from Arkansas. He managed to make to this place. Mechanic takes him about 8 miles away to a motel, telling him be picked up tomorrow at 11, and truck will be ready by noon. Well nobody came for him, he arrived to truck taken apart, not even being worked on. My husband is already angry, then owner quotes $120 an hour, after he had been told $95 an hour for six hours. Needless to say truck was towed elsewhere.

Glad we stopped here just so we know where NOT to stop in the future. Horrible. Several broken pumps and the ones which appeared to work would not let you use your card at the pump but gave a message saying you'd need to go inside to pay. Bathrooms were a disaster and looked like no one had cleaned them in a very long time. The most glaring issue to me was the lack of concern for customer safety. There are three sets of double doors to enter or exit the store and employees had two of the three locked. One was tied shut and another was locked and also had a table blocking it from the inside. I added photos. Surely this is a safety violation. We'll be skipping this place on future trips. Never got gas here after multiple attempts anyway and went down the road to a nicer safer Love's with working gas pumps and clean restrooms.

One Cashier looks like she's on crack and the other looks like she hate the world. Very bad customer service. I'd rather stop at Petro if going east and drive further to to Petro if I'm going west. No worth the hassle at this fuel stop.
