What I asked for vs. what I got… I wanted a cute shoulder length chop, which I’ve had many times before, but never like this. The stylist took some creative liberties and delivered a cross between Carol Brady and Charlize Theron in Monster. I did express my displeasure with the stylist and the owner and I requested a refund, and was told they do not issue refunds but I could go in for a complementary cut. Well I don’t think my self esteem can possibly take another hit from this salon, I mean I’m already living in a baseball cap, one more cut from them and I’m sure I’ll end up looking like the Cynthia doll from Rugrats. So if you’re finding yourself a bit too full of self esteem or confidence, take a trip to Salon Perspective and they will happily knock you down a few pegs, making sure you leave their establishment looking and feeling your absolute worst!I know it’s almost Halloween, but this is all trick no treat! So buyer be warned, you’ll be leaving this salon with a SHEIN haircut at a designer price point.

I’ve got thick hair with cowlicks all over. I like to keep it short and Ale always cuts and styles it perfectly. Always polite and great service here. The owner really takes care to run a quality salon.

I'm a long time returning client from when it was Toni&Guy. I had had great experiences but can't say the same when ownership switched to Perspective.I was disappointed when the end result (highlights and color) did not resemble the picture I brought in. And because they were closing, I was asked to pay before seeing the end result. After politely voicing my dislike, I was told it could be fixed but would be charged an ADDITIONAL $40 product fee. I was willing to pay it but when Kevin, the owner, only offered to tone it I was discouraged. Needless to say, it's disheartening he's willing to lose a loyal client over fully resolving the issue. To add insult to injury, he wasn't even willing to partially reimburse.And clearly the owner is unprofessional. Just read his replies to other people's low reviews.

Wanted to update, after receiving the response from the salon. We wanted to pay for the full service, which is what we thought we had booked. The problem is that wasn't offered when booking or even offered for the weeklong period between booking and arriving for the services. We were not told your are only booking for a haircolor...no wash, dry, cut or style...we were never given the option to book those additional services. TRUST ME, that is what we the client that paid a deposit of $ 120 to just book the 90 minute appointment for. Now it's our fault for booking online?!! TRUST ME. TRUST ME, I wouldn't have booked if we didn't want the service or to pay for the service. The arrogance astounds me.

I got my hair done by Holly on September 21st. Really sweet girl. Professional. But didn't give me what I asked for the first go around and charged me product fees to fix what she admitted was her mistake. I paid and didn't argue because I'm afraid of confrontation but still upset about the encounter considering my color faded within 2-3 washes because she didn't re-dye it only re-toned it. Ended up tipping 20% the first time, so in total I spent ballpark $350 just to be back to square one after two weeks. I think the reason I'm the most frustrated is because when I went in the second time for the toner she said "my bad just when people come in saying they want red a lot of the time they don't actually mean it so I underestimated it this time". Yet I showed her exactly what I wanted and she knew it was her fault and still charged me the $40 product fee. I'm in the service industry and would never still charge a customer for something that was my mistake especially after admitting it was my mistake. I'm not looking for anything free just hoping the owners see this and are able to talk to their stylist about giving good customer service and how to right their wrongs the correct way.

I have been coming to this salon to get my haircut since I was in high school… in the more recent years I’ve started dying my hair here as well. All three times Holly has dyed my hair. The first time was good. The second was alright except for the fact that she left me sitting too long turning my hair pitch black. (I luckily ended up liking it). This third and final time was not good, I was left sitting for awhile and then her next client came in, she went over her time and left me sitting at the wash bowl… I sat and watched as she talked with her client about what they were going to do with her hair. She then brought me my things and sat them in the wash chair next to me. Rushingly washed my hair, preceded to ask the receptionist if she could dry and brush out my hair. The receptionist brushed my hair out… I am now taking off the smock that the receptionist forgot about and am going to pay. Worst $130 I have ever spent to dye my hair dark brown with no style or dry! 0 stars!Service: Hair coloring

this place used to be good with Ryan and other cool ppl now it’s really bad. owner Michael got very greedy, charges way too much money and damages pretty hairs. I gave him nice shiny hair to color, he fried my hair by over processing it .and charged me over 300 dollars. he was not focus at all. not fair. I went there to feel pretty not ugly. I will never go there again. I don’t ever give bad reviews to anyone but I had to this time to save others from the abuse.

I love visiting this salon. Ali at the front desk is such a sweetie and does an awesome blowout. Michael is fantastic at interpreting my requests for color. He is so talented and a pleasure to talk to. I always have fun in his chair! I have been to Kevin and George for my cuts and styles. They are both very kind and do a great job.
