I stayed at Candlewood Suites for 5 weeks due to fire in my apartment unit. The room smelled like bug spray so I asked them to come clean the room. The front desk lady said they cleaned the carpet which I couldn’t tell because the carpet was completely in a few hours. So I purchased fabric spray to clean the smell praying my apartment would be completed in the next week which turned into a month. I asked for my room to be cleaned they lied and said that I had the do not disturb sign on the door which was a lie because I had been out of town. The towels had dirt stains and makeup still on them so I had to purchase my own towels. This hotel didn’t clean the toilet out and water smelled like perm which gave my dog diarrhea. If you are black do not go to this hotel because they will be watch everything you do and report it to your insurance company. I left that hotel and went across the road to Hampton Inn which was a much better choice this room was neat staff very positive and polite.Rooms: Rooms smelled like bug spray water smelled like perm carpet was dirty and towels were filthy

Today, we received a review from whoever thinks they're entitled to manage reviews. Oh, let's all thank her for the laugh! Apparently, it's hilarious to drop a negative bomb on my business on behalf of her so-called 'employee's husband.' Like seriously, WHO DOES THAT?! Lady, you're not just an idiot, you're an embarrassment to common sense!What kind of twisted circus act goes around posting negative reviews for others? Get a grip, lady! You've never even stepped foot in our establishment, yet here you are, spewing your venom like a professional hater.And let's not forget your little threat about plastering nasty flyers all over town. Well, guess what? I'm taking a page from your playbook, and I'm spreading this review like wildfire across every corner of the internet. Consider it payback, you petty excuse for a human being!DO NOT—I repeat, DO NOT—patronize this excuse for a business. They clearly hire nothing but petty, clueless individuals who wouldn't know common sense if it slapped them in the face!

I stayed here back in October, we were visiting Texas for friend’s wedding. After coming to the hotel late from the wedding the front staff were very helpful with our late check-in. There was no issue with paying with a different credit card, then the issue we had had earlier with my rental car company. I was glad I was just able to check in and rest after a long, stressful day. The room was the adequate size for a couple and since it was a suite it would be a perfect place to stay a few more days. Although we only stayed for a night, we enjoyed our stay. It was close to the airport but we did not hear any planes that were too loud. The parking lot was enclosed and has a roof, which was great for the rainy weather we experienced.

Staff is super accommodating and the rooms/ hotel are definitely worth it!!Rooms: Rooms are large, up to date, and cleanSafety: Private parking garage, and secure access doors. Also the area seems super safe/ friendlyFood & drinks: They have a small marketplace with snacks and meals.

We had an ok stay. The rooms are not super nice but clean. I left my toiletry bag there and had to have it shipped home. The manager could not have been more annoyed by me but nonetheless i got the bag back. it was missing some items including some perfume and eye patches.

My stay here exceeded my expectations. The rooms are spacious and clean. All staff is welcoming and friendly. I loved that this was a pet friendly hotel with reasonable pet fees. I checked out on a Sunday and realized that I forgot shoes and make up bag on Wednesday. On Thursday Sarah at the reception desk was extremely patient and assisted with having my items shipped home. I received my items on Friday. Thank you to all staff for going out of your way to make our experience superb. We will definitely come back!

Spent fours nights here and it was great.Clean, quiet rooms. Friendly staff. Plenty of parking.Nice little path on the nearby river to walk or bike on.Great location for exploring Dallas from.

Called to speak to someone at the motel before booking a room. Was placed on hold for 34 minutes and no one checked back during that entire time. After 25 minutes, I called another hotel nearby on a different phone, and had a room booked in 5 minutes. We used to stay here when we came up to Farmers Branch, as we have family there, but no more. Moral…customers are customers whether they are calling or standing in front of you…now you have one less. All it would have taken was a pop in every 5-7 minutes to say, still checking in people, I’ll be right with you. Ba-bye!

I recently stayed here for a quick weekend trip. I enjoyed my stay here at this hotel. The staff was friendly, helpful, great area. The only dislike I had was that there was no room service & the bathroom tub could have been a bit cleaner.

I booked a 1 night stay at this hotel one week ago, had to choose a pet friendly one. Drove for 8 hours to Dallas, spent 3,5 hours to pick up my 2 kittens at the DFW Airport and finally, tired and hungry, got to the hotel. I found a parking spot, got all my belongings along with the kittens from the car and started the check-in process. All went great until the receptionist saw the kittens and said that cats were not allowed at the hotel. I asked "How come so that cats are not allowed at a pet-friendly hotel?" It was never mentioned anywhere during the booking process, no emails sent out regarding this restriction. Basically, you can't position yourself as a pet-frienldly hotel if you are only dog-friendly! My reservation got cancelled and I got kicked out with my pets and all my staff at 9:30pm. I had to spend half an hour to find a real pet-friendly hotel nearby and had to overpay for it having little time to book. All nearby restaurants got closed by the time I checked in at the other hotel. Worst hotel experience in my life.

This hotel was very nice. There were walking trails close by. You could exercise while doing your laundry for free. Units have a kitchen (sans an oven) so you could easily cook meals. There was also a BBQ which we used. The room was basic but contained everything we needed including hand soap and lotion, bath shampoo, conditions and body wash (all big bottles). There are not any close eateries or stores so you do have to do some traveling to get there. The good part is it is right by the freeway so easy on and off.

Candlewood Suites Dallas NW, I am not sure if this place is new or refurbished. However, the lobby and common areas have so many air freshners that it triggered sinus. I sneezed the whole visit. The windows didn't open in our room.The room was nice. It was clean. The kitchen had a full-size refrigerator and a gas stove. We didn't use any of those amenities, yet people may want to know.We enjoyed the location. The area was nice, parking was ample. There were washers and dryers on site. I nice but small work out gym. If passing through, we would definitely stay here again. It cost $169 the Saturday night we stayed with tax.

We drove all the way from California to Texas for a dog show. Lena and her staff were amazing they make you feel welcome as soon as you step in to the building. They provided us the best customer service we have ever gotten in any other hotel. We would definitely come back to stay here again without a doubt.

the rooms are clean all the time, the housekeeping staff are very friendly, the front desk staff are not the friendliest, the was a young african american guy, he was unprofessional, mean, arrogant and not friendly at all, i just spent 20 days overthere and i ask for late check out and they refused
