Explaining their process and what they would do to troubleshoot. After all was said and done; my PC came back with them installing my new power supply (which looked like a complete mess when I had it in) and installing updated fans. “I thought our manager had bought our barcode scanner from Texas Barcode Systems, so when our scanner broke down, I called them. Texas Barcode responded very politely and asked what had happened. During the conversation, it turned out that my company had not purchased equipment from Texas Barcode. We bought it another company. I was very upset that the equipment was broken because I needed to work and was looking for help. Despite the fact that I was not their client and had not bought anything from them, and did not even plan to, the owner of Texas Barcode patiently spent time on the phone explaining everything they could do to help fix our barcode scanner.With the help of their instructions, the barcode scanner started working! I have been in business for over 10 years and have not seen such a professional and responsible approach to customer service in a long time! I highly recommend contacting them if you are in need of barcodes equipment.”

Update: I found they have two cords to plug in and I used only one of them. Either I missed that or it was missing in the manual explaining the setup.
I called a different Office Depot customer service and they provided a different number - of their installers, to speak with.
