Went in to get taxes done but did not like the pricing H&R Block was charging. I was told that if I changed my mind to come back in. Well I decided to file the taxes on my own. I got a notification that my taxes had already been filed. So I went back to H&R Block and was told that somehow my taxes had gotten filed but they don't know who in the office filed them. I never gave the ok for H&R Block to move forward and now I'm stuck in limbo due to the IRS thinking some type of fraud has been committed. I will never use H&R Block ever again.

I filed my taxes in Feb and had a great experience with Mai as always. My complaint is with the ladies scheduling the appointments . My son called and scheduled an appointment for drop off @ 9:00 pm on 4/14/2025 at the Farmers Branch location. When we got there, he was treated really bad by a lady name Michelle. She told him he did not have an appointment. I called her and told her , he had an appointment with Mai. She said , she does not see him scheduled .My son asked her what she had available for 4/15. She told him nothing is available @ that location, but she had openings at the one on Montford. So she scheduled him for 9:30 am on 4/15. When he gets there he is told that he does not have an appointment, and that he needed to go back to the Farmers Branch location@ 10:15am. So he called before going this time, to confirm the appointment. Appointment was confirmed, and he was finally able to get his taxes done. My whole family has been going there for years and never had such a horrible experience. Michelle needs training on how to treat/speak to customers.

I had an appointment at 430. Arrived at 425. 2 walk-ins without appointments arrived after me and went to a tax advisor. It is now 5pm and I still have not been helped. Guess I shouldn't have made an appointment

These people are not Tex experts. They only follow the steps on the website. Which anyone can do from home. They will not do due diligence to get you all of your deductions or make sure you’re getting all of your refund.

Mia Robison is the person you wanna go to!! I had a tough time trying to do my tax return by myself and came across a cross road and made an over the phone appointment with Mia. I ended up getting a call from the HR BLOCK In Arlington telling me I had to call someone else because I messed up when I did it online and had me believe there was no way I could get help by a professional. But Mia called me and insured me that was not the case and got my tax return approved, if it wasn’t her professionalism and eagerness to help me out I probably would be on a 30 min phone call with some 1-800 number. She even called me back celebrating it got approved! I enjoyed speaking with her and love her great attitude, really made me feel comfortable.I hate leaving reviews but I really had to leave one for her!!

2019 taxes were wrong so now I'm dealing with a penalty of 3k . 2020 were never sent so I have to do my taxes again. You pay them $100 or almost $200 on 2020. All done wrong , how does that happen with two simple tax forms to work with . Don't do your taxes here. They are not professional. Making this post now because i just found out about my 2019 and 2020 issue. SMH
