Absolutely the rudest, most confrontational, smuggest, young girl employee I've ever had the most unfortunate encounter with! EVER! And I'm in my 60's! Very very nasty! Do not know her name but she worked the self check out at 12:57 Monday the 22nd of July. I did speak to the manager, Estelle who was incredibly kind and assured me the employee would be spoken to but I myself will not go back when there is a 2nd choice in the same amount of distance.

Never in my life would I have thought I'd be reviewing a Walmart, but after the shocking experience I just encountered, I feel the need to testify. Just this morning I stopped at the Walmart Farmers Branch location at the corner of Josey and Valley View Lane for a few things I needed. This place is usually always very easy to shop in, and the few interactions I've had with the employees there were always positive, as they are always friendly and willing to help. Well today, I was blown away! I used the self-checkout like I always do, and when I scanned a bottle of the Equate brand of Dayquil, the usual age verification popped up, prompting a clerk to override the request. I am way older than the 19 years of age required to make this purchase. A friendly middle-aged man came by, smiled and greeted me, typed in his credentials, then walked away. For some reason, the machine did not want me to buy the item, so I flagged the nice man down and told him what was happening. He tried several times to get the item to go through, and even called a very nice Hispanic woman, who tried assisting but she could not make it work either. The nice man turned to me and told me he is comping the product as I had to wait all that time. I WAS FLOORED!! Exceptional customer service is a rarity in this day and age, let alone mostly non-existent in a Walmart. This made my day!! Thank you Walmart, and thanks to the manager who went above and beyond!

Spoiled food in the freezer because the freezer went off and all the food ice cream and Popsicles went bad. They never bothered to clean it nor replace the food. I almost purchased ice cream until I opened it in the store because it melted and when I looked at it it looked like rotten spoiled garbage.

Really wish they had a fresh meat section and bakery. For being a grocery store it's lacking, I would prefer some fresh items. Service was okay

I have been coming to this location for a while to buy groceries and to get medicine. It's conveniently located close to my house. This is a neighborhood Walmart so it's very small, and they pretty much just have groceries and a pharmacy. I recently started using their curbside pickup, and I love it. My order was complete, and they emailed me if anything needed to be replaced; by the time I arrived to pick up my groceries I didn't have to wait because they had my order ready.

Pharmacy staff is rude, more so the manager than the staff. Poor leadership skills and lack of respect for individuals privacy.

Veterans Beware!! Apparently this Walmart's night staff does not serve disabled veterans at 9pm. I went in for some snacks and drinks and was refused service at the self checkout despite providing my driver's license with veteran status on it by underage staff. Extremely poor service and will never give my business to this location again.

i mean it's walmart. i think everyone who shops at walmart goes there with low expectations in the trade off of saving money on low prices. i live a minute away so this is usually where i get my groceries weekly. i try to go early in the morning or later in the evening to avoid the rush. if you go on the weekend during dinner time it's super busy, not worth the head ache. the worst thing i can think about this location is they got rid of a ton of parking spaces that are now reserved for people who shop online for pick up, only...no one does that. so they're just wasted parking spaces. the single most annoying thing about this walmart is i havent seen a hand held basket in probably a year, i dont know if the manager got rid of them or what, but it's REEEEEEEEEEEEALLY annoying if you only need to get 10 things to haul around a shopping cart, and they all seem to have wonky wheels.

I used to like this store until just now when I put my phone in my pocket and got accused of shoplifting! If only they had hand held baskets their country asses wouldn't be so damn stupid! The only thing stolen is the money I spent in this store

I was a little surprised to see the low reviews, but I came here anyway to get a few things. I was on my lunch break, so I was in a bit of a hurry. Parking was easy as they have a huge parking lot as is Wal-Mart custom. They were busy, but getting in was quick. The store was laid out intuitively so finding the 5 items I came for was easy as well. I saw several employees, which contrasted my expectation from reading in reviews there were not many employees. In the 10 minutes I was in the store I saw at least that many employees of not more. Checking out was easy, the store had a lot of cashiers and self checkout areas. There were even employees at the self checkout lanes. Like I said, Ten Minutes in and out and I was on my way. I have no rating for the service, as it was a total serve experience!

Our first visit to this location was in search of garden supplies but, upon arrival, we discovered that this store is dedicated only to grocery and pharmacy. We had never seen a Wal-Mart dedicated to only those two departments. Great news: This Wal-Mart Pharmacy has a drive-thru! AND the day we visited, there was a mother/daughter duo selling Girl Scout cookies out front:) Not-so-Great news: Though we couldn't find garden supplies, we considered purchasing a few grocery items only to feel overwhelmed at the thought upon viewing the loooong checkout lines on a Sunday around 4:30pm. Based on the lines, we decided that any shopping could wait:)

This location is a Wal Mart Neighborhood Market. So they don't carry everything a regular Wal Mart does but it's good for groceries and everything you'd find at a Kroger or similar grocery store. The prices are good and the produce seems to be quality and fresh. The only downfall is they don't have a deli department for meats and cheeses and their selection of steaks and meats are pretty horrible.
