While visiting my son in Liberty Hill, he took us shooting at this range, it was fairly priced, very clean, staff was super friendly and they have 8-10 hand gun targets and they range from 5 yds to 15 yds. The long rifle area has from 25 meters up to 100 meters. Before you get started the range master asks if you've been there before and then he gives you a safety/rules briefing then you can get started. If your ever in the are I recommend you give it a try.

Today, my husband and I set out in search of an outdoor range and ended up discovering an incredible place! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and made to feel genuinely welcome. We had such a great time, and Tony—the instructor—was amazing. He generously shared his skills with both us and the kids.
Tony clearly has a passion for training. He was highly professional and knowledgeable, guiding us through every step with clear, detailed safety instructions. The kids felt safe and comfortable the entire time, which meant the world to us as parents.
My husband and I absolutely recommend this place. They even offer a firearm academy where you can get your license to carry—we’re already planning to take our classes with Tony soon!
The facility was spotless and had a great atmosphere. It was the perfect place to enjoy one of my husband’s favorite hobbies while also creating fun, lasting memories with the kids.
Thank you again to everyone at Lonestar Range for such a wonderful experience. My family and I truly appreciated it!

Had a great experience at this range. Outdoor range with pistol, rifle and shit gun options. Rifle range has target pits at 25,50 and 100 yards. Pistol range has several lanes at varied ranges. The staff is great, they have spare ear protection and paper targets for purchase. Be sure to bring your own supplies like water and ammunition as they don't have these items available from what I could tell.

I attended a two-day training on Handgun Fundamentals for Protection, and I was very impressed with the Lonestar facility. The area is well maintained, the restroom / porta-potty kept very clean (cleanest one I have ever seen!), and the classroom even thoughtfully had cushions for the chairs. The staff is friendly and helpful.

It doesn't have standing shooting for a rifle. The staff was very helpful and professional. That's the only reason for 3stars

I recently visited this outdoor shooting range just last year and had an incredible experience! The range was well-maintained, with clear safety protocols and a variety of targets to choose from. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly, providing excellent guidance for both beginners and experienced shooters. The dusty, military-like surroundings added to the overall enjoyment, making it a perfect spot for a day out. I highly recommend this range for anyone looking to practice their shooting skills in a safe and welcoming environment.

This was an outstanding experience! Bought my first rifle so I'm learning how to use it and zero in the scope. Tony came over and sat with me to go over how to zero it in and go over terminology! For the price and the knowledge you gain I highly recommend going here!

I came across this place by searching. I went here for a few reasons. Regardless of those reasons, I felt welcomed and included without any overbearing employees. Tony, the owner was very professional and inviting. I prefer someone who treats you as an actual person and keeps it real. Tony and his staff, his wife, his friends, everyone... nothing but top shelf quality. I plan on going here as much as I can. I recommend anyone, wanting a class, lessons, range time, conversation...anything. Give it a shot (pun intended) and see for yourself. You will not be disappointed. Mind you this was my very first time there, first impressions are everything. 100/10

Welcoming, fun, environment. I like the gun and safety etiquette used there. We enjoyed shooting our rifle's and handguns.
