long story short, they didn’t give my pet apollo the care he needed. Do not go here if you want good QUALITY care. I suggest the Banfield in lewisville near marshals.

I wouldn't allow them to care for my pet Rock. Severely lacking in professionalism and communication. I took my dog in because she was coughing and paid for a respiratory test. Called multiple times asking for the results and they gave me the runaround. They assured me someone would call but they never did. Then finally I called a different location and they told me the lab disposed the samples and informed the hospital 3 days after it happened. When I called this location they sat and told one lie after the next even saying they called and left a message. But there is no proof. Never did they take any accountability or ownership for their lack of communication or negligence. Still have not gotten a call from the Manager. Never again

This place is a rip off !!! I came here for just a flu vaccine just so I could kennel my dog. For some reason the flu shot needed a booster-- probably so they could get more money from me.I paid 175.00 for this one vaccine!!They made me pay 67.00 for the office visit- TWICEWhy do you have to do an exam within 2 weeks of each other???I feel taken advantage of-- Buyer beware look elsewhere!!

Very mixed on this review. Facilities are good. Reception staff and vet assistants were good. What it lacks is communication, transparency and disclosure. Took Sheby in to remove a small skin tag. Quoted $500. Day of surgery quote was $360 with a caution that the vet may need to add medicine. Final bill was $700. Plus the vet spoke about the risk of removing the skin tag when I went to pick up Sheba. Hello.... you should have conveyed those risks BEFORE surgery.

I scheduled an appointment a week before for a spay procedure, them knowing i'm a new client getting some information from me . Then the day before my appointment I got a call in the morning confirming my appointment, later that afternoon I received another call saying my appointment has been canceled due to me being a new patient. so I called, the front office lady said it was canceled because im a new patient but can come in for a consult , then the spay procedure the next day, drop off at 7:30. I asked if I could be with my dog during the consult and she said the mornings are just drop off but the afternoons I could be back with her so I changed my appointment time to the afternoon. got there and was told I cannot go back with my dog (a tech stated are you okay with that? while I said "well not really but I guess I have too" hoping they could see how uncomfortable I was to see if they could work with me , was told it would take 35-40 minutes yet it only took 5 minutes. I was very uncomfortable but my dog needs to get this done. after all the wasted time and misleading information, as a first time patient , I have no trust in this company and would never take any of my animals here. the staff seems bright and cheerful but please know what you tell your first time patients and give them the correct information and make them feel welcomed.

They wanted to do multiple tests on my dog just to tell that he was deshedding in summer. Never want to go back to them again.

I’ve been a customer with Banfield for years ! I love their wellness plan and how they are located inside of PetSmarts ! This location does not hold up to Banfields standards. I scheduled a new pup appointment and indicated to the front desk team I didn’t have any shot records or anything currently on me but my doggie was all up to date with her shots. The young and older front desk lady didn’t state that was an issue. They took my baby in the back and stated they will give me a call once she was done.I only needed her teeth looked at and the two bumps on her back. I specifically told the front desk lady this. She stated that was fine.I get several calls after, the first one is in regards to her heart warm prevention , I stated to the again, she is up to date on everything and I would have the hard records in by the next day.Two more calls regarding her rabies which at this point I ask, are you guys waiting for records to exam my dog? The gentleman at this point, states no my dog had already been seen and had an exam along with fecal exam.. sounds odd because all of these calls seem to come from untrained employees instead of the provider.Adriana, the tech, takes over the call and presumes to tell me she will not be able to release my dog due to Texas law and I should have been aware of this..At this point again, I state for my dog to not have any shots. I hang up the phone and head to pick her up.Picking my baby up Adriana continues to want to press the issue and being combative .Not once did the provider come out to explain anything or to speak on steps that should/should not be taken!My dog was with them over 3hours!!!Very unprofessional !

Don't take your pet there if you need more than basic care. My senior dog was shuffled in and out , I had to ask to talk to the vet and left with no answers . They are so busy that there's no personal care and there techs do all the work. No return calls numerous times. 500$ later I'm truly disappointed and will not be going back.

Dr. Stone is wonderful. She has been taking care of our pups for a couple years. She is thorough and always willing to explain anything we don’t understand. She was also so kind and helpful when we had to say goodbye to our of our fur babies. She let us have as long as we needed, explained the full process to us, and overall made us feel comforted in a dark time. I am very thankful for Dr. Stone and the Banfield staff!

Great job Banfield!! You are taking advantage of a senior citizen who is taking care of her husband who has terminal cancer. She called 2 weeks too late to cancel her plan with your company. Never got a phone call or letter stating the renewal now she is in collections!

This place is after money, and their techs are unintelligent and clearly don't know how to take accurate notes. Their doctors must of graduated from an imaginary school lacking a compassion for animals. Not to mention they forgot why they were even attending to our dog. If you care for your dog even slightly take them somewhere better. They don't allow you to go back because they probably don't treat your dog right. 5 hours went by with no result. Safe to say their staff needs help. Would love to speak with an owner but it was hard enough to get a "veterinarian." When she walked out she couldn't complete a sentence to defend her miscommunication. $280 down the drain for no resolution. WATCH OUT FLOWER MOUND!

Absolute worst. I called on Monday to request that a rabies certificate be emailed to me for my schnauzer. I was told that it would be sent shortly. It never arrived. I called back on Tuesday to request the certificate again. I was placed on hold for 20+ minutes. I hung up and called back and the same staff that had forgotten that I was on hold answered with "how can I help you?" Already two strikes against them. A little humility and "my bad" would have gone a long way, but nope, not with these arrogant people. Rather than receive an apology for them dropping the ball the day before or for forgetting that I was on hold for 20+ minutes, the woman on the phone--Kayla--got extremely defensive and adopted a highly condescending tone of voice. Before the phone call was complete, and while I was still talking, Kayla hung up on me mid-sentence. Never have I experienced such out right rudeness, arrogance, and self-entitlement from someone who purports to work in customer service. This particular location has been going down hill for a while now, which is a shame because Dr. Stone is a quality person. She deserves better staff. I highly recommend that residents of this area of DFW take their animals to the Southlake Banfield instead of dealing with these incompetent, spoiled children.

Val and the team here are on point. We unfortunately had to say good-bye to our beloved baby, but it couldn't have gone more smoothly than how it did, you can tell they truly care for you and your animals. We felt total comfort here, from now on I will recommend all of my friends and family to this place. Please keep up the terrific work.
